“Our stay was good but felt especially disappointed by the mould”

The pool deck was awesome. Views were nice from the room with lots of light. Very comfy bed Washing machine and dryer were great!

Apartment is ideal for a Sydney holiday! All the many windows give great views. The apartment is very practical and spacious. Great having the decent kitchen and laundry.

Fabulous location with grand views! Spacious apartment, and if using the second bed it doesn’t block the lounge. Large main bedroom with a very comfortable warm king bed. Great kitchen, we appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary capsules. Superb full bathroom. Appreciated being able to use the common spa, pool, and lounging area which has panoramic views of Opera House and Harbour Bridge, located just 4 floors above this apartment. Recommend, and would choose to stay again if available.

The apartment hadn’t been properly cleaned when we arrived at 5:30pm or so. We ended up washing the bed linen ourselves. The recycling bin hadn’t been emptied either. These aren’t huge issues however I’m used to staying in the Sebel apartments as a Sebel brand not as an air bnb setup so maybe my standards are higher than they should be? Only 1 set of keys, no room service and you have to turn on all the appliances at the wall upon arrival and turn them all off (tvs, modem, washing machine etc) you have to turn the fridge on as well upon arrival, again not a massive dilemma but not what I’m used to at the exact same location as I normally stay at when I’m in Sydney. The apartment itself has a great view and wonderful location however that’s kind of the reason to stay at the Sebel in the first place. It’s a bit of a pedant however after getting off a plane, getting a taxi, finding a lockbox and then dropping the bags in the apartment I would have loved to open the fridge for a cold beer as is the case in a Sebel branded apartment however the fridge was t on and there was nothing in it not even a jug of cold water. Minor issues but below the standard that is literally next door. All in all, lovely location, very prompt and easy communication with the host, amazing spot to watch sunsets and sunrises. If it was cleaned properly, fridge was cold and at least a jug of water if not a cold beer waiting for a weary traveler then it would be a higher rating.
