Overview
The Irys resort is located in Świnoujście, just 100 metres from the sandy beach. It offers classically furnished rooms with a refrigerator and free Wi-Fi with limited speed. A variety of massage and body treatments is available and guests can use the fitness room and Nordic walking sticks free of charge. All rooms at the Irys are spacious and decorated with warm colours. Each comes with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a seating area. The private bathroom comes with a shower. A buffet breakfast is served every morning in the hotel’s elegant restaurant, which specialises in Polish dishes. Guest can enjoy a drink at the bar that serves home-made cakes and coffee. Guests can exercise at the fitness centre, rent a bike or nordic walking equipment. Irys is located next to the sea promenade with many bars and shops. Świnoujście Railway Station is 3.5 km away, the town centre is 1.5 km away and the Heringsdorf Airport is 10 km from Irys.

“A cosy hotel close to the beach”
A cosy hotel, old fashion style. Clean rooms, good breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not so easy to communicate with if you do not speak Polish or German. They replied promptly in English via messages on booking.com

We stayed at the hotel for one night, thinking that breakfast was available until 12:00 PM. (It’s till 10:00) We went down for breakfast at 10:05 AM. The atmosphere in the dining area was unpleasant; when I greeted the staff, no one responded. One worker walked past me without a word and started speaking to my friend, who didn’t speak Polish, while ignoring me completely. It turned out that the guests at the table next to us were hotel staff eating and they began to comment on our presence in an unfriendly manner. We felt like intruders. This situation could have been avoided with a simple "good morning" and information about breakfast ending. The service in the morning definitely did not meet our expectations.

Everything was great and conditions were as promised. We enjoyed a two-bed standard room, had appointments for several nice SPA procedures and the included breakfast was marvelous. The room had AC (AC remote was at the reception), fridge and a kettle.
