These chalets are located in the forests next to Swalmen. Herberg de Bos has a restaurant and bar. There is a variety of hiking and cycling routes in the direct surroundings. Each wooden bungalow is furnished and comes with a refrigerator and a terrace. The shared bathroom is fitted with 2 showers. You can relax in the garden, and a playground for children is featured at Herberg de Bos as well. An outdoor swimming pool is 300 metres away. Design Outlet Centre Roermond and Roermond centre are 11 minutes by car. It is a 17-minute drive to Venlo. The A73 highway is 5 minutes by car from Herberg de Bos.

The experience of sleeping in the forest, nature sounds. Despite being a wooden cabin, there was proper heating and the shower was perfect. There is a little fridge.

“Great beds and shower, all other facilities extremely stingy.”
We stayed in cabin 7. Both the beds and the shower were simply awesome. We slept like babies. We were hiking all day, these two things are by far the most important to have and the cabin definitely scored a 10 on those two points. Also, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is very nice with a restaurant with a nice terrace next door.

Ample free parking. Clean, good sized cabin. Nothing too fancy, very functional with the necessary amendments. We were there with our 2 dogs who were comfortable. Perfect location for hiking, straight from the cabin into the woods.

Location is stunning. Good food at the restaurant. Went for walks in the evening and spent the next day cycling round the area. It's a great place to use as a base for all the trails.

“Perfect price / quality for a steay nearby Roermond”
Quiet location. Comfy beds. Staff is 10 out of 10. We stayed here one night with 7 guys, in 2 houses. Great area for a walk. The restaurant seems to have good food as well. Price / quality can't be beaten.

“Nice basic stay in nature”
I love the location amongst the beautiful forest area. The tiny huts are really cute and nice for a short stay and enjoy nature. Nice beds Quiet area If you don't mind staying in a very basic place, it's wonderful!
