“Great stay in Swapokmund”
Best hotel in Swapokmund, right on the sea front. Lovely rooms (coming from Europe, we did not find them small at all) where even the partial sea view is quite lovely. Good choice of restaurants. Superb breakfast buffet!

“5-star relaxation”
The hotel is right on the beach - a little lagoon - with gentle waves and a beautiful view, especially of the sunset over the sea. We used three of the hotel's restaurants and in all the food was superb and the service was excellent. We were in easy walking distance of the town. The area was safe enough that we could walk to another restaurant in the evening that was a little way south.

We loved our stay here, big comfy well appointed rooms with a complimentary mini bar and a balcony overlooking the ocean. The Strand hotel Is definitely the best place to stay in Swakopmund. Three good restaurants are part of the hotel, we also enjoyed a good pizza at The Lighthouse restaurant nearby. Recommend a trip to Sandwich Harbour, and Dennis, our guide is the man for the job, reception have his details, he was brilliant ☺️
