Located along the Atlantic coast within a 15 minutes’ walk from Palm Beach, Hansa Hotel Swakopmund features two restaurants, a bar and terrace. It has a garden and offers free WiFi in all areas. “Fabulous”
Our stay at the Hansa Hotel was a true example of old-school hotel excellence. The service was exceptional from start to finish, with staff who genuinely made you feel welcome. The Crêpes Suzette, flambéed tableside, was both delicious and a memorable experience not to be missed, as was the colonial coffee, also prepared flambé-style at the table. The porters were always on hand to assist my elderly parents, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Our garden-facing downstairs room was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and quiet — the perfect base for exploring Swakopmund.

The lovely old-worldly hotel, lovely staff, good accomodation, fantastic service and an overall wonderfull experience. It was a dream from childhood days, to stay in this hotel and at the age og 60, I finally got the chance. Thank you! I would like to come back every year!

The hotel has retained its old character both in style and interior decor. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is very good. Good central location. The bar and dining room are attractive.

The staff were professional and extremely helpful. The hotel was central it had a very traditional feel. The buffet breakfast was of very high quality and staff went over and above to ensure guests were well cared for.

“Great hotel, old world charm, excellent service and room!”
The Hansa exceeded all our expectations! After staying in a camp in Etosha without power and cold showers, the Hansa was luxury! Wonderful old world charm and great service from all the staff. Our room was bright, clean and spacious. Being central in Swakopmund there are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
