Lene, was a great host that undestands what travellers need. She describes herself as the "Crazy Aunt". She's very generous, and even asked if she could cook dinner for me on the first night as I was arriving at about dinner time. We shared dinner for 2 nights in a row and I got to try some very traditional dishes of the area, Whale and Salmon..... Yum....... Great kitchen and home, Boho style of decorations, more than unique..... Best value in this expensive town for accomodation, and in the best location in town for a Non Hotel. Pretty much on the water front on the edge of the new area, with the hotels......

The location is excellent , just a short 5-10 minute walk to the bus stop and town center. The house has a wonderful, cozy atmosphere with a beautiful view of the harbor from the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the room was very clean with a comfortable bed. What made the stay truly special was Lene the host. She knows so much about Lofoten! She is incredibly warm and welcoming, and even went out of her way to cook delicious fishcakes for me! It felt like staying at a friend's home.

There was an unpleasant smell on the first floor which seems to be permanent. The room was cold, and a heater is required to be on at all times, which is not the safest option during the night.

The host was very helpful and understanding and the propert felt like home

The house is located closed to the main harbour, so easy to walk by. Helena is really kind and nice, having good talks with her even if I was not staying longer!

Location was good, within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the harbor, bus stop, and main square. Easy access to lots of delicious food options. The host was very kind, caring, and helpful and made me feel right at home and well-taken care of!

Where to start! This is truly a very special place to stay. A real home from home. Lena takes such care of her guests and clearly gets great pleasure from doing so. She is a great source of information and nothing is too much trouble. She has made me reevaluate my future bookings wherever they may be. Staying in someone’s home is truly a magical experience 😁

“Would stay again & again”

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is amazing, right next to the harbour & I had a view of the harbour from my room (see photo). The owner Lene is a wonderful lady & went above & beyond to ensure that I felt at home & got the most out of my stay. She suggested a ferry trip (free ferry) to Skrova Island & local hikes.
