“Incredible value – cosy red cabin with great breakfast & friendly staff”

The biggest highlight of this place is staying in a traditional Norwegian fisherman's red cabin. It's a two‑floor cabin that was plenty spacious for the four of us. The décor is cosy and welcoming, and from inside you can already enjoy a nice little view of the fishing village. What really surprised us was the value for money. The price was very reasonable, and it even included breakfast for all four of us. The breakfast was buffet style with lots of choices – we got to try many traditional Norwegian foods. For this price, getting breakfast included is truly amazing. Highly recommended! The staff were also very friendly. They gave us extra information about road repairs in the area, which helped us avoid major delays during our ride. We really appreciated that. The location is super convenient – very close to a supermarket, so buying food and other supplies was easy. A couple of small drawbacks: the kitchen setup is quite basic – you can cook a simple meal but don't expect much. Also, the kettle was a little worn and battered, which was a bit off‑putting. Despite these small issues, the overall experience was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting an authentic and affordable stay in a Norwegian fishing village.

Great position in a quiet private part of town but only minutes walk to the centre. 10 min or less to the ferry terminal. It’s literally on the docks with great views over the water to the town and mountains. It’s an older style as expected with traditional fisherman’s cottage, but it’s t, spacious and functional. We like cooking for ourselves and this kitchen, though small was up to the task. The buffet breakfast was a great bonus and the reception staff were uniformly excellent - helpful and friendly. We only had one night in Svolvaer planned, but would happily stay here longer.

We booked a Rorbu Suite but were given a room in the main building. This would not have been a mayor issue, although you like to receive what you pay for, but it's okay. What was not okay is that the bar, which is lockated right below the room had live music until 3am. We had to leave and start our drive to the airport at 6, so you can imagine the amount of rest we got. When I contacted the owner about this I got a very AI generated answer and no actual help. I don't even understand why we were not given the room we picked because no one explained that to us.

The property was thoughtfully decorated and situated in a beautiful surroundings with stunning views from the room.The bed was comfortable, the tiles in the bathroom were heated and the room heater was also great.

The place is very charming, the rorbu room may look old-style but has modern amenities that made our stay very comfortable, with well equipped kitchenette, big TV, nice shower and comfy beds. Good breakfast and free parking. The location is fantastic, on its own small island in the center of town, 5 min from the harbour where trips to Trollfjord leave.

Everything about our stay - the location, our room with the view overlooking the harbor, very helpful and friendly staff, the delicious wide spread breakfast buffet we looked forward to to start our days and the wonderful sauna (not to be missed) to end our nights.

Centre of sentrum. You can park your car hire included next to accommodation on a unique traditional fishing village experience then walk to Magig Bar with ice sculptures and to catch Trollfjord boat.

Beautiful location on a small island in the harbor. Shops and restaurants easily within walking distance. Very kind man at reception. Helpful with all issues. Easy charging your car at a flat rate. Great breakfast buffet. Some houses have great views over the port.

The location is just perfect. By the harbor, beautiful views. The cottages are also very beautiful. Made of wood giving a very authentic and cosy feeling. Loved it.
