“Great location, fantastic staff, except no AC in April”
Very close to train station, in fact it is right next to the train station. You won't ger wet even when it is raining. Staff will helpful. Lake view has great view of 东方之门。Room clean, beds are comfy. Breakfast has varity of eastern abd western food. Robot delivers take away to your room. No self-service laundry facilities.

“Ok, but could have been better for this sort of money”
Individual staff were wonderful, but others incredibly unprofessional, especially in the breakfast room when politely asked about information regarding dietary preferences. The location right next to the subway (exit 3) is perfect. The covered balcony was nice.

“Lovely and modern hotel”

Great hotel with nice view. The room is big and clean. I really loved the view from the room to the lake. The staff is kind and helpfull, they can speak english. The breakfast is very delicious, you can find everything.

The location is perfect for the purpose of our visit as it is diagonally across the Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre, about 3 minutes by foot. The Wenhuabolanzhongxin Metro station exit 3 is only 100m away. Gate of the Orient is one stop away on line 1 and it’s very convenient and cheap to travel around on the Metro. The hotel is modern, clean and welcoming. Check in was fuss free and front counter staff was friendly and pleasant. I love the big room with a huge bed. We were upgraded to a room that faces Gate of the Orient and Jinji Lake. Superb view! We had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay at Novotel SiP Suzhou again if we are coming to the SIP vicinity.

Compared to my previous visit, this time the room they gave me was not smelling smoke of cigarette.
