“Decent place with great view of the lake.”
Decent place. I love the lake view! Road can be a bit noisy if you stay in a room facing the lake, but that is not a problem if you get up early. Everything was done to the 80~90 out of 100 but maybe I am too picky...

The staff, public bath (has both an indoor and outdoor bath) and the view towards the lake were all excellent. As I visited it early, the bath was just for me.

“1 night in Suwakoen”
Good value for money. Unblocked view of Lake Suwa, very calming. Hotel staff are great. Breakfast is awesome, 1 set per person, not typical buffet style.

Traditional hotel yet well maintained Good onsen and good size room Get the view on Suwa lake it’s stunning A bit far from the station (10-15 min) so chose a cab if you have heavy luggage - but easy to access

Beautiful lake view from my spacious room. Dinner and breakfast was so delicious and the staff very friendly. Free coffee and tea station which is perfect after the use of the onsen.

“Sawakoen was a modern/traditional hotel with the experience of Japan”
Great location. Walkable from the Kamisawa train station and right opposite Lake Sawa. Walking distance to some restaurants and convenience stores, laundry mat. Traditional breakfast included in our stay and amazing onsen facilities.

The private bath in the room was exceptional, plus the dinner was delicious. The beds were really comfortable. The staff treated us very warmly. It really shows that they care about every detail. Really one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had.
