“A special place on the hill with a beautiful view.”
Is small guesthouse, on the hills, with a beautiful view from the window, welcoming host who has very good musical taste, I loved it selection, it is a very peaceful place, good for watching sunsets.

“10/10 would stay here again”
Absolutely fantastic hostel! Has everything you need, with super comfy futon and layout. Staff were fantastic and super welcoming! Felt like you were visiting family not just meeting for the first time. The location was stunning! 10/10 would recommend!

“Traditional japanese house, loved it!”
The owners is a really nice japanese couple, who ensured our comfortable stay. The room and common area was clean, there's also nice view from a balcony. The nearest train station is just 10 min walk. It's the cheapest and nice place to stay near Suwa lake and Tateishi park.

“Well located with a beautiful view but way to expensive.”
The host is welcoming. The accommodation is really near to kami-suwa station, less than 10 min by foot. And the view from the accommodation is wonderful.

“Basic place to spend the night,nothing more, because you have to be out of the house all day!”
The location of the inn was good for what we wanted to do in suwa if you don't mind climbing up the stairs. There's a small terrace with a beautiful view.

The location (once you have climbed the horrendous stairs) is good as it is close to Lake Suwa and the town. The woman had lots of information to give us about Kami-Suwa, such as a restaurant that we liked and information about the fireworks.

“Unforgettable experience”
The location was very nice and quiet, and the views of Suwa lake spectacular. The sleeping boxes were quite spacious, and their privacy was good. On the other hand, I can't thank enough the owner for their kindness and help. The owner even told me about a firefly event and helped me see it. I am very happy I stayed there, and hope I have another chance to go in the future.
