“Fantastic stay in Hiiumaa.”

We love Ungru Guesthouse and try to stay there every time we visit Hiiumaa. Very nice house and room, and lovely, quiet surroundings near the sea. Breakfast is very good.

The location of the place in Suuresadama is unique with the old shipyard - would definitely recommend the place just to experience this! The room was also very nice and atmospheric with a good bed.

Very quiet, in the small harbour. Old building with stylish rooms. We came after midnight and the key was left in the reception.

Loud music at night and breakfast didnt work. Young girl was made to do it alone and brought wrong order and took a long time.

A lovely room in the restored historical building by the sea Suursadam port. A warm welcome. A nicely decorated large room with a sea view. There was a really bad and chilly weather outside, but the room was pleasantly warm. A really comfortable bed. Pets are welcome. Very tasty breakfast, large portions. Good value for money.

“Very comfortable, warm, and cozy stay.”

We are looking for authentic places to stay and this time we also succeeded. The guesthouse owner called and kindly explained everything before our arrival. We hit the off-season, which also has its advantages. For one night we were the only residents in the Ungru guest house. Very comfortable, warm, and cozy apartment. Good soundproofing, we did not hear when someone was working on the first floor, and also we did not hear the residents on the second night. The restaurant of the Ungru guest house is closed in the cold season, but breakfast was kindly prepared for us by the housekeeper of the guest house. Convenient location if you drive from Heltermaa and for further sightseeing of the island. I admit that in the summer season, you can enjoy excellent meals from local products in the restaurant. So maybe we will go again. :)

“A wonderful guesthouse next to the sea”

This was one of my wife and my favourite places to stay during our 3 week trip around Estonia. The room was beautiful, in an old wooden style but still felt modern, The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom, although small, was very nice and had a good shower. The view from the window was beautiful (see photos). There was a communal fridge, which came in handy. The quality of the food for breakfast was very good, and the staff were all very kind and helpful. The garden area outside was very nice and the setting overall was lovely.

The people were all so lovely! And the food was really good!

A very nice place at the edge of the world. When you turn off the main road, at first it seems that the navigator made a mistake. But no, this guest house is located on the territory of a former ship repair port. The room is cozy. Breakfast is delicious. The view from the window is wonderful. The bed is comfortable.
