“Absolutely amazing and peaceful place”
The place is absolutely amazing. The house is built and furnished in scandinavian style. The owners took care not only of its style but also of the necessary facilities, for example: cutlery, dishes or hoover. The living room has large windows offering a beautiful view of Lake Krøderen. You can take a rowboat on the lake or relax on the privet beach surrounded by beautiful pine trees. The house and neighborhood are quiet and peaceful. There are beautiful walking trails nearby like Norefjell Mountain. We had a wonderful time there and completely relaxed. Helen, the owner, is incredible person. TUSEN TAKK for your warm welcome and hospitality!

“A real winter wonderland....”
We spent a week at the Halsteinsplassen cabin during the Christmas period in 2023. The cabin was even more beautiful than we expected, and it was the perfect setting for our holiday. Helen and her family decorated the cabin beautifully and we were delighted to find a present under the tree. The cabin is located in a stunning location and offers breathtaking views from the main windows. It is thoughtfully designed and well-equipped throughout, making our stay very comfortable. Despite the freezing temperature of -13C outside, the wood burners kept us warm and cosy inside the cabin. The surrounding area is lovely and the cabin has an ideal location for downhill and cross-country skiing.

“Amazing”
This place is absolutely amazing! The view is stunning and hypnotizing, we just couldn't stop looking at it - was it day or night:) The cabin is super cosy and clean, equipped with everything we needed. We've had a wonderful time drinking coffee at the terrace, hiking in the mountains, swimming in the lake and contemplating quietness. The host is very friendly, helpful and responsive. We appreciate we could bring our dog with us. Certainly we would visit again.
