Lovely stay in the Eco-tent. Big comfy bed. Breakfast, lunch and aupper all very good. Tasty, fresh food. Friendly staff. Polite, helpful waiters. Well organised turtle viewing tours. Many visitors, but managed well. Lovely gift shop. Great stay. Highly recommended.

This is a very difficult hotel to rate. The accomodation and services are basic, but if you plan to stay just for accomodation, you probably are in the wrong place. The real value is the experience the hotel provides - the turtles, and that is a 10. The staff is helpfull and very welcoming - Omani style. The location is unique.

The advantage of the hotel is to be on site for the turtle tours. We did not see any, unfortunately. I would have liked for the guides to at least tell us a bit about the turtles, after 2h of waiting and waking up at 4h30.

“An extraordinary experience”

Very nice staff, good and tasty food. The possibility to see turtles is something exceptional; people’s behaviour during the tours may be questioned. The hotel is old but still value for money is good. If you consider that food and 2 turtle watching tours are included then the price is not expensive at all. We will be happy to come again!

The good thing is that we have seen a turtle on the beach at night and because we were hotel guest we could go first and we did not have to wait too long. This was really appreciable.

Location close to the turtles reserve (and thereof no driving in the middle of the night) is certainly what makes it worth choosing (and the only reason to pay such high price). Breakfast was quite nice
