Overview
The Gergovia sits in the Super-Besse ski resort, between the Pavin lake and the Puy de Sancy volcano. It has a fully-equipped wellness centre and a restaurant with panoramic view. All of the rooms feature a TV, a telephone and free Wi-Fi access. They offer views of the mountains and can accommodate up to 4 people. Private ski lockers are available. The hotel Gergovia’s restaurant serves a full buffet breakfast every morning. It also provides regional specialities from Auvergne. A bar and a common living room are at your disposal. You are invited to relax on the terrace, or in the wellness centre featuring a sauna, a hot tub and a fitness room. The hotel also has a game room, where you can play ping-pong, pool, table football and pinball. A free shuttle service, leading to the slopes, stops right in front of the hotel. The resort also provides many activities in summer, such as water sports, cycling and hiking on the volcano.

“Highly recommend it for families”
Perfect hotel for families. Staff is very friendly. Bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of storage. Beds are comfortable. We paid for the breakfast there and we had lot of choices of food. Hotel has a game room with table tennis, table football and a snooker in the bar area. They also have a small hot tub and sauna. Anything you need is there.

“A good stop off on a walking trip”
The room is fairly basic but comfortable enough of a pattern familiar in ski resorts. We had half board and so ate in the hotel restaurant. Although we shared the dining room with a coach trip, and so very busy, the staff coped splendidly. Dinner includes a generous cheese board.

“A good place to stop off on a mountain walk”
The menu for dinner is limited but that didn't matter because it was very good and very pleasantly served by very nice staff. Included an 'eat as much as you want' cheese board.
