“Blissful week”
Everything was excellent - met by the host and she showed us around and how everything worked. She also gave us loads of ideas of what we can do in the area. Bonus for us was the good size fully enclosed field for our dogs to run and play off lead

Casa Angiz etxea is ideal for a lovely stay if you plan to travel in the region. Beautiful rooms, fantastic views, friendly staff. Special thanks to Haizea who was very hospitable and supportive. We loved it and will definitely be going back.

Perfectly maintained facilities. Great location in the heart of Pyrenees Basque country. Great not just for great food but also for finding out about Basque culture and history, including persecution by the inquisition during the 17th century.

everything !! this property is affordable luxury !! free wine and Jam left. it had all the previsions left that you’d need for your stay. the communication was outstanding !! honestly can’t recommend staying here enough. and a great location if your a biker 🏍️💨💨 the local bar is great with friendly people. there is a local shop and a chemist.

“idyll getaway and perfect place to stay for hiking”
Perfection!! If like us you love walking in the hills you’ll be spoilt for choice. The house itself is beautifully maintained, very clean and has everything you need. The views are fantastic and the host Haizea is very friendly and helpful. We speak little or no Spanish and Haizea speaks some English but we managed to communicate via Google translate. Haizea provides you will loads of information for the surrounding area - walks, restaurants, bicycle rides, etc. and she very kindly booked a restaurant for us. Monte Mendaur and a few other mountains can be accessed directly from the house - this is a bonus, the trek to the mountain goes through the most wonderful forest. The house itself is on a very (very) steep hill 😊 so I would suggest getting all your provisions before arriving. We did walk it a few times from the village but it definitely is not for the faint hearted, but you can of course drive. There are 2 apartments, but rarely seen or heard our neighbours - it’s very private!! All in all I loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat😁
