Overview
With great views across Lake Iseo and Monte Isola island, Hotel Rivalago offers a peaceful and panoramic setting for your stay in Sulzano. Its garden includes a large, heated swimming pool. All rooms are spacious and air conditioned. They come with a minibar, a Smart LED TV, and free Wi-Fi. Most have a lake view. A buffet breakfast with a good selection of organic ingredients is available and can be enjoyed out on the terrace. The bar serves drinks and light snacks during the day. The Rivalago Hotel is a 2-minute walk from the ferry port for departures across the lake. Trains to the city of Brescia and other destinations around the Lombardy region can be caught from Sulzano Station nearby.

Certainly the nicest hotel in Italy that we've stayed in. Wonderful service and delightful terrace. The staff were excellent and demonstrated a lovely of the hotel and focus on guests' enjoyment.

“Perfect stay- beginning to end”
We loved everything about this hotel, the location was incredible- as we went in April it was quite quiet which meant we could upgrade our room to a lake view (highly recommend upgrading if possible). The staff were very friendly, the lady on reception (sorry didn’t catch her name!) was very welcoming and helpful with different advice for getting to the island. Silvia working in the bar was also so helpful in giving us recommendations for different things to do. We loved the pool and hot tub, we were lucky to get some sun and even swim in the lake (still very cold!). We like to try and visit new places but loved our stay here so much we think we’ll have to come back! Parking was tight, however this was well communicated ahead of the stay so we knew what to expect.

“A comfortable hotel in a wonderful location”
The hotel is on the lake front with wonderful views across to Monte Isola. There are regular ferries to the island and to Iseo town at the southern end of the lake.

“Peaceful, beautiful, great food, great views”
It’s got the most beautiful views of the lake, the outside seating area is stunning we had breakfast and evening drinks here. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, we had a standard room which had everything you need and aircon. Great breakfast lots of options and we had a fantastic dinner there too the truffle pasta is delicious!

I don’t think I have ever felt more relaxed than at this hotel. Away from crowds and everything spotless and exceptional quality perfect for a few days rest and relaxation before full on sightseeing. If you want to experience the real “Italian lakes holiday” this is it.

“Wonderful lakeside stay in awesome location with great facilities”
Hotel Rivalago exceeded our expectations. We arrived late and were shown our apartment which was spotless and stylish. It didn't have a lake view but no matter as it was easy to make the most of the lake view at all other times -and having a leisurely breakfast looking out across the lake was perfect. Great selection of breakfast - with healthy options such as apple and ginger juice. We hired the hotel e-bikes - first time we've used e-bikes as usually we'd just use our mountain bikes ... however with 34 degree heat we decided to treat ourselves. Definitely worth it as you can still have a work out going up the hill - but you can achieve a greater distance for site seeing. We went up to the 'Pyramidi di Zone' basically an area full of glacial sand towers with boulders perched on top. I can't believe this area is not more famous. It was beautiful! We stopped at the last hairpin bend before you reach the village of Cislano and just walked for 5 mins down the track and we were right next to one of the 'pyramidi'. Anyhow back to the hotel - we also hired paddle boards for 10 euro an hour. These were great fun. Finally dinner was exceptional - we had the spaghetti alle vongole - it was incredible and very generous on the clam front. The pool looked good too - but I can't believe we didn't even use it as the lake was just too tempting:)

When we arrive the hotel gave a us a fabulous bottle of Champagne as it was my honeymoon . The staff we truly fantastic , super helpful nothing was to much trouble , love this hotel and staff really can’t wait to return . Excellent . ✨✨✨✨✨

Super friendly staff, very flexible and supportive. I suggest to visit this place in summer or even better September-October. Less tourists.
