Breakfast was okay but the hosted hovered and talked too much Location was good, easy to walk to the downtown area

Villa Poeta is well located in a quiet area, an easy 10 minute flat walk into the old town. The room was light, the bed comfortable & the bathroom was large. Everything was clean & in perfect order. The breakfast was excellent. The best part of the stay was undoubtably the hospitality of Maria Teresa the host. She was attentive, caring & helpful. She proudly baked the cakes, prepared the coffee or tea & catered for whatever allergy or preference one may have. She struck us as a very hard worker who should be proud of what she has achieved. She was delightful.

Our host Maria was exceptional in providing the very best in customer service. Nothing was too much trouble and having all day access to her wonderful homemade cakes and biscuits was a bonus. The location was good for us and the street was quiet enhanced by the double glazing.

Nice, quite and relaxing area and close to Sulmona. Garden with flowers where you can enjoy life. Everything very clean, big room and bathroom. And not to forget - Maria. She is so welcoming and helpful and does everything to make you feel comfortable. Since the bus to the train station did not show up sunday morning at 8.00am, she picked me up at the bus stop and drove me to the train station. Thank you again, Maria for a lovely stay. You are amazing.

Maria Theresa is an exceptional host. Breakfasts are self-made by her. Stay is in a cosy traditional Italian villa.

Maria Teresa made us feel very welcome, and provided us with a list of recommended restaurants, places to go, details of local buses etc. The room was cool, despite the heat outside. Her breakfast buffet included a massive array of local biscuits and cakes made by her. The B&B is a short, easy walk from the town centre - 10-15 minutes depending how fast you're prepared to walk. It's therefore very quiet.

Very good location for those arriving by bus - between the bus stop and the town. Calm and peaceful. Our room looked over a garden and a cherry tree.

Our hostess was most hospitable and the place was spotlessly clean. We were given a generous breakfast of mostly sweet foods. There is a lovely warm eider down on the bed but the room is dark as the shutters are kept closed to prevent neighbour's looking in.
