“Perfect location, great hotel with personal touches and fantastic hosts”

Roberto & Giuseppe were fabulous hosts, the hotel was incredibly clean and well designed with perfect facilities for a city stay. The hotel is right in the centre of town and walking distance to everything. We have already booked again to return!

The hotel has a perfect central location, just a short walk from everything in Sulmona. The rooms are comfortable, and very well equipped. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The staff were extremely friendly, and the host Giuseppe was exceptionally helpful — he gave us great tips for our day trips and helped us organize transfers. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Comfortable beds and had breakfast in the cafe located within hotel on ground floor. Walking distance to everything. Great town, bars and restaurants.

Fantastic stay! Location is great, we used the underground parking in the square and never had an issue and the walk was very nice. Rooms are modern and clean, air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was fantastic. Fresh fruits daily with a selection of fresh pastries and if you wanted a traditional savory breakfast was available on demand. Service was exceptional we will return!

Our stay at Stella CasaBono was perfect. The property is very well appointed and Roberto and Giuseppe excellent hosts. The location is excellent and close to everything.

The hosts, Roberto and Guiseppe, are wonderful. They are welcoming, kind and very knowledgeable about the Sulmona area as well as operating their hotel in a completely professional manner - they always put their guests first. The location is right in the historic centre of Sulmona, so close to all of the towns interesting sites, to plenty of cafe and restaurant options, and to the marvellous social activity of promenading. Our room was very well appointed with plenty of storage and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and served by Roberto and Guiseppe. Roberto made the time to take us out on an expedition which we could not possibly have achieved without his help.

A Truly Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended! My stay at this hotel was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the remarkable hospitality of the owners. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel like a valued guest. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect, always ready to assist with a genuine smile. The room I stayed in was both elegant and spacious, providing a comfortable and luxurious atmosphere. The attention to detail in the room's design was evident, and it was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The decor exuded sophistication, making it a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the private terrace. It was an absolute delight to have such a cozy and comfortable outdoor space. I spent several peaceful mornings and evenings there, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast served at the hotel was excellent. There was a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from, and everything was beautifully presented. It was clear that great care was taken in preparing each dish, making breakfast a delightful start to the day. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The combination of outstanding hospitality, elegant accommodations, and excellent amenities made for an unforgettable stay. I will definitely be returning!

“Absolutely wonderful stay”

The room was comfortable, spacious and well appointed, and importantly cool despite the high temperatures outside. The en suite bathroom was equally spacious. Breakfast was lovely and the location really good. But the best thing was the attentiveness of the owners, Roberto and Giuseppe, who were both so helpful.

An excellent breakfast not laid out buffet style but bought to you on demand. Attentive and very helpful staff who happily telephoned to make dinner reservations for us in Italian. A comfortable bed and a brilliant bathroom! And you really are in the heart of the city.

Location was excellent, close to the main street of the old centre but very quiet. Large room with a terrace. The owners, two brothers, were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast, served personally. The price for night is very fair (we stayed 2 nights). Extremely recommended.

Great location and hotel. Owners are hands on, very organized and helpful. They issued a ZTL permit, gave great arrival and parking information, met us at the hotel and showed me where to park after unloading. This made the stay very easy.

Everything was great! My husband and I stayed here in February during winter and temperatures outside tend to be quite cold, but the hotel was warm and cozy, and you have control over the room temperature.. Very nice hotel with great location. Sulmona is absolutely amazing and is really worth the visit!
