“Charming, would stay again.”
A charming apartment overlooking the piazza, aqueduct and mountains. We had 3 balconies to look out from. Couple flights of stairs to climb. Easy walking around old centre, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The kitchen facilities are basic but fine for us to be able to prepare simple meals ourselves. The bathroom is a couple of steps out of the room but easy to access and feels very safe. Tiny shower- if you are a very big person I would reconsider. Lovely host who met us at apartment. Sulmona is a quaint town surrounded by mountains. We caught the train from Rome and most of it was a beautiful scenic ride, walked from the train station about 2km, 30 mins with small cases. There is a bus, but we didn’t work it out. Well worth the walk as the old town is the place to stay.
