Fabulous accomodation in the heart of Sulmona old town. Germano was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying here!

“Fantastic historic apartment”

A wonderful historic apartment with lots of original features on a quiet street in the centre of town. Germano is also a very friendly host & helpful with local recommendations. Couldn't ask for more, a perfect place to stay in Sulmona

Germano and Stefania were very nice hosts. Stefania met us at the apartment. Both of them were very helpful in giving us advice about traffic, services etc. They let us stay longer in the apartment with no surcharge. The room is situated just in the centre in a quiet street without traffic. Grocery store "Alimentari Catica", Corso Ovidio 266, and Pizzeria "Il Vecchio Muro" are very lovely and are both in 5 min walking distance from the apartment. Tourist Information office at Corso Ovidio is also very close, you can buy bus tickets there; we went, e.g., by bus to Campo di Giove and hiked back to Sulmona, and made also a nice trip by bus to Scanno (see photo).

Bianca is in a great location in the historical centre of Sulmona a close and nice walk to the Main corso and piazza with many restaurants and bar spots nearby. Our just was extremely organised and helpful and even organised all the permits for access by car and free parking a short walk from the house.

The apartment is in then very heart of Sulmona so it is easy to visit all its attractions and places of historical interest, and enjoy the great restaurants. The great welcome we received. Germano waited for us for a rather late check in and went out of his way to provide us with a lot of useful information about the surroundings, parking, events, shops and restaurants and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Great host!

What an awesome find! In the heart of the old town this is a studio with a single grand living space and a perfect little bathroom/shower room. With a dining table in the heart of this spacious room, this is a beautifully renovated cantina perfect for up to 4 people, with everything we would need and all fixtures and fittings are absolutely brand new! What a beautiful hide away in a magnificent lively town. I wished we could have stayed longer. We visited Sulmona in the MIDDLE of a heatwave and La casetta di Bianca was our cool haven. The room is cool and comfortable, there are fans if you need a little extra breeze. A wonderful oasis in a beautiful town. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for an experience in a comfortable traditional style accommodation, in the old town. Perfectly positioned to explore the old town and not more than 4 mins walk into the heart of Sulmona for restaurants and cafe's and gelato! Our host - what a man! Not a friendlier or more welcoming man did we meet during our 5 week Italian tour. A man on a motorbike, he will be with you within minutes if you ever need him and willing to guide you, help you park, helped us with our bags, he made recommendations for anything and everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Don't speak Italian? We don't, and we hardly noticed! This man is a genius with a translation app, making conversation, questions and recommendations so incredibly easy. Not many reviews yet? This place is newly listed in 2023, we may be the first to stay here. We were a little nervous about no reviews yet but decided to take a little risk and we are absolutely delighted that we did. We visited Sulmona by chance, we picked a random place on the map, we booked last min (3hrs notice).

“Centrally located , stylish apartment-perfect in every way!”

This is a small, but very well appointed and stylish apartment in central Sulmona, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Well located to reach the shops, bars, restaurants and sights of the historical centre, but in a little side street, so slept very well without any disturbance. Perfect for solo travellers-I felt very safe staying there on my own- or a couple. The owner was so kind and helpful, going out of his way to answer questions and give advice on e.g. local restaurants, and made himself available in case I had any problems. Will be my "go to" apartment when I next visit Sulmona.

The house was perfectly located, nested in a hidden and calm passage while still remaining at walking distance from the picturesque center of Sulmona. Everything was scrumptiously clean and there was nothing left to be desired. Germano, the kind owner, took time to answer all questions and makes sure you get the outmost of your stay.

This is a rustic, traditional apartment with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The terrazzo floor and domed roof give it a charming character. It stays beautifully cool on hot summer days and is in a fantastic quiet location in the historic center. There’s a coffee pod machine with coffee supplies. Germano is a kind and helpful host.
