“Cosy apartment within a few steps of the old town”

Lovely small apartment in the heart of the old town. Very comfortable bed, great shower, fluffy towels, spotlessly clean. I really appreciated the water, milk and juice in the fridge as well as the other breakfast options. I think it’s the first place I’ve stayed where washing detergent for the washing machine is provided which is a nice touch. Antonio was a friendly, responsive and very helpful host. I made the mistake of driving through the city centre which is a limited zone (thanks Google!) and Antonio registered my hired car with the police so that I didn’t receive a fine. All in all a great stay in a really lovely town. Would recommend

Antonio kindly met me when I got off my train and drove me to the apartment, and drove me to the train station when I left. He is definitely a character! The accommodation was central and it was nice to be able to cook some meals having bought vegetables etc at the market on the main square. Good to have coffee, milk, croissants and bread provided. I highly recommend a walk to Eremo di Sant'Onofrio al Morrone - it takes around 3 hours 30 minutes (there and back, see photo) so take plenty of water and a snack or two. I wish I'd had more time to explore the mountains.

It's a beautiful place to stay .

In the old town and in a quiet place. Very good bed, I slept like a baby. The host is amazing, you rarely meet such an interesting and helpful person. The kitchen is fully equipped, everyone will find what they need.

The apartment is very well located. Close to everything in town and a quick 5 min drive from all the connecting highways. The apartment had everything we needed and the staff was very accommodating. Even thought the apartment in right in the old town it is very quiet and is excellent for a stay in Sulmona.

Antonio was very friendly and obliging, and went out of his way to help us. The apartment was very close to the old town centre, and we loved Sulmona. The nearby little village of Picantro is also very worthy of a visit, either on foot or by bus.

The only thing that could have been better was air conditioning upstairs in the bedroom and bathroom since it was very hot outside at the time. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

We had a lovely stay in this historical house. The host was great, very flexible for check-in and check-out, gave us local advice and even helped us to get to Pacentro. It’s a perfect place for a young couple / friends.
