“This is a must hotel to stay in if you are visiting Sulmona!!!”

Hotel Rojan is located in a quiet side street in the heart of charming Sulmona. The hotel is a classic tastefully renovated Italian style family run hotel. The hosts were warm and welcoming. The room was very elegant and the bedding was especially luxuriant. The breakfast was varied with fresh fruits, cheeses and meats and homemade pastries.

Staying one night on a motorbike trip. Hotel right in the centre of Sulmona with access to all sights and restaurants etc. The hotel is family run and Gianluca made every effort to help with the bike and even drew out an itinerary with a map of where I could ride to the next day. I stay in many hotels on trips but this hotel stands out for its location and ownership. Only doors couldn’t stay longer

The hotel is family run and they are wonderfully inviting and helpful. They were proactive is providing advice on how to get to the hotel before arrival and whether the attic room we were allocated was suitable. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast was lovely and most offerings were homemade and produce locally sourced. Every element down to the tea provided in the room had been carefully considered.

This is a family run hotel, and this shows in their customer service. They took so much trouble to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Very clean. Excellent variety for breakfast. LOVED having a kettle in the room. Good location in the centre of town and we found there is a local bus from the train station. Many good eating places within a short walk.

We like a family-run hotel and we’re very pleased with Hotel Rajan. GianLuca and his mother are generous, professional and courteous hosts and provide a sumptuous breakfast. The bed was firm but comfortable and the two pillows of different softness to allow choice. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with the minibar and the shower was hot and easy to control. The hotel is also well located - quietly tucked away and within very easy reach of the main Piazza.

Very good otherwise but little bit difficult to reach because of restriction area specially when you cannot local language. In makes entering to area so uncertain...

The staff were really nice, clearly overworked or practically live in reception as it was the same people there all the time! The location is excellent and really easy to get anywhere.

Firstly the staff here are welcoming and exceptional. They assisted us with information about the town, restaurants etc.. also made excellent suggestions as to the route we should take while continuing our travels to Puglia. We were treated to a most beautiful visit to the old village of Pescocostanzo which we would not have had only for the assistance of the staff.

It was attractive, comfortable, with a great breakfast and the best coffee we have had in Italy prepared by Rosanna. It is a family -run hotel and all members of the family were delightful and very helpful. Angela organised for us to visit a chapel with frescoes that we particularly wished to see. We would be very happy to recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to repeat our visit.
