Big, spacious and beautifully and thoughtfully fitted out with everything you need for your stay. As well as a lovely breakfast. Hosts are superb are even kindly picked us up from the station after our train arrived many hours late. Highly recommend!!

The apartment was very clean and well presented. The apartment had a full kitchen , lounge area, bedroom and laundry bathroom including a balcony with table. Proximity to the piazza.

Nello and Franca were wonderful hosts and left us so many nice things to eat and drink. The apartment was spacious, and there were nice mountain views from the verandah, see pictures. It is well located close to the old town and many restaurants. You can get a bus to several nice villages from the stop 100m away. There is an elevator, which is very hard to find in Sulmona apartments.

Well equiped kitchen with all the necessary condiments. Cakes, fruits and breakfast cereals were a real bonus. Location is ideal.

Everything was perfect. - Clean - Tidy - The house was full of little details that make your stay comfortable from the first minute. In summary, great job!!

The whole place was exceptional and amazing had all amenities and comforts of home super clean the host was a sweetheart super supportive and a real gentleman the building location is number one and can't say enough amazing place wonderful people.

It is not sterile but full of nice little decorations. The owner picked me up from the station: the walking route is long and very badly paved ( for years!) A ( good) pizzeria gave a nice welcome breakfast.

We were met at the train station, the apartment is beautiful, great mountain views, and everything was thought of, even a cake for breakfast, milk, coffee, and fruit. Husband loved the coffee maker which used loose coffee, not just those stupid plastic pods polluting the planet. Very comfy bed, and I loved that we got 1 set of green and 1 of blue towels, so we could keep our own towels separate.

Modern apartment in a good location within walking distance to Piazza Garibaldi. Kitchen was well equipped. Great shower and water pressure Bed was comfortable. Nice balcony.

“Stunning”

What a beautiful property surrounded by the mountains of Abruzzo and a short walk to the lovely town of Sulmona. The host was very welcoming and accommodating and the property was absolutely stunning. Situated in a modern complex so much thought had gone into the design and decor. Immaculate, clean, comfortable with so many extra touches literally everything has been thought of. The outside terrace is beautiful with spectacular views of the mountains from either side. The host also left pastries for breakfast and we were able to use his garage for parking the car. There was definitely an owl theme going on hence the name Gulfo Verde. Just wish we had stayed longer.

The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a balcony with a stunning view of the adjacent mountain ranges. A great place to watch the sunset over the mountains. The best thing though that took this from a fabulous apartment, to a fabulous experience, were the little details. Everything had so much thought put into it and was perfect. After a long journey to arrive, it was so wonderful arriving to cute little welcome pastries and other goodies. Location is great for getting into heart of town as well as exploring the jaw-dropping mountain ranges around. Hosts are so wonderful. Stop reading this review and book already!

“Fantastic!”

The apartment is in a quiet building. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated - it has everything you could need and more! The hosts left fresh biscotti from the local pasticciera as a welcome gift, as well as providing plenty of other breakfast options. It is an easy walk to the city centre and has parking close to the apartment. We highly recommend this place!

The best accomodation we have had so far on our trip ! Apartment cosy , clean and has everything you could need for a long stay . Lovely balcony that looks over the mountains.Close to the city centre and restaurants . Lovely continual breakfast and fresh fruit Host very responsive and helpful , check in easy If coming by train suggest a taxi or bus to the apartment as slow climb up to . Leaving not a problem all down hill .

“It’s a lovely place!”

It’s really cozy and comfy. You feel right at home. The shower is great and the view from the balcony as well. The host got us a tray of cookies for breakfast, which were delicious!

The photos of the property dont do it justice. It is super homely and comfortable. We needed a place for one night only as we were on a motorcycle tour. Nello kindly let us use his garage for the bikes, which is under the apartment block. He also left us goodies for breakfast, water, yoghurt and milk in the fridge, and there was all the makings for tea and coffee. The apartment was warm and the duvet on the bed was luxury! We left wishing that we had longer to stay there and see more of Sulmona which was delightful. The Gran Sasso area nearby is very beautiful and great for cyclists, walkers and motorcyclists 😁 A 5 ⭐️ stay!

“Apartment par excellence.”

Apartment was immaculate, very spacious, great balcony and fantastic location with access to all local amenities in Sulmona. All toiletries, towels and bedding were first class and the bed was very comfortable. The decoration and lounge area was very well presented and afforded a lovely relaxing feel. It was wonderful to have fresh fruit, waffles and tea/coffee/milk provided after our long journey. Nello met us at the entrance with the keys, made us very welcome and showed us around and explained everything. Private parking space in a garage on site was great and the spacious balcony made alfresco dining the thing to do. All in all a very good apartment and lovely hosts. Well done Nello and Franca!
