“Wonderful location”

This is a fantastic place to stay in old sukkothai. If you want to experience real thailand then this is the place. Kwan is such a friendly host and will help with anything you need. Her staff will cook you a fresh breakfast everyday. Rooms are really nice and clean. The garden is beautiful. You can rent bicycles here to cycle around the historical park which I highly recommend as it covers a large area. If you want to see the historical park and the surrounding area I would recommend at least two full days if not more. There is a wonderful night market nearby where you can sit by the temple and eat food. Plenty of restaurants only five minutes walk away. I highly recommend a visit to smiling face guesthouse.

I ve stayed in a tent and it was great experience for me.The host introduced me where to visit and what to do in historical side begining of my time over there.She was so helpful and positive.The breakfast was also so good! They gave me a bike which is in good condition for free during my stay.

“Comfortable, friendly guesthouse”

Unpretentious, homely place with few extras like pools. But the rooms were big and comfortable and well appointed. Families appeared very well catered for and there were plenty of bikes for them to borrow. The staff were unbelievable: helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable Great stay here.

The accommodation ist very close to the historical part of the Sukothai. Its just 5 minutes walking to get to the main entrance of the park. They also offer bikes for rent if you want to see the sights a little bit outside of the historical Centre. The hosts are very friendly and can help you with everything. The room was super clean, with air conditioning etc. Also you have a bus stop just 5 minutes away from which you can go to Chiang Mai or Bangkok to continue your travels.

“Perfect in Sukhothai:-)”

Smilingface Guesthouse is a wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting Sukhothai. It’s clean, safe, wonderful staff with everything you’ll need for perfect stay. Tucked down a little lane behind the market and the main road going through the township. We would highly recommend doing a guided bike tour around the tempels.

“Excellent guesthouse in relaxed calm setting and great location”

Smilingface guesthouse was just what we were looking for! It was a lovely calm setting and we enjoyed our stay. Host was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Aircon worked perfectly and room was comfortable. The location only a 2 minute cycle from the ancient city was also a plus. I would very much recommend this guesthouse. We also appreciated the cold drinking water machine available at all hours.

The location was amazing! Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good! Even when we left and sitting on the bus to the next location we figured out we had lost something. The owner was willing to look in the room we stayed and sent pictures where she all looked. Great service!

The guesthouse is very clean, and really well located (2 minutes from the food night market). The owner and staff are really nice and helping. I would recommend taking bikes from the hostel to visit the historical park, it is truly beautiful.
