“First Experience”

This was my first ever stay in a hostel and it was excellent.

The Guesthouse itself is very good, It is convenient that it is only about 50 meters away from the Bus Station. But it is not easy so get to the city centre: one has to walk through a labyrinth of small lanes full of dogs that can be aggressive after the sunset.

A family run business with helpful staff. They all wear uniformed coloured T-shirts which is useful to know who’s who. Good location right by the bus station. Clean and tidy rooms and facilities. Hired bicycle to get to Historical Park. It’s quite a long cycle but fairly pleasant. No so great returning at night in the dark and rain (!)

The beds had curtains to cover you as you sleep and the shower was nice temperature and could get fairly hot if you wanted. Also the air conditioning in my room was great. People working there are also great, kind and very helpful.

The staff helped us with the dishes and the microwave and stuff to hang out.

Lovely people, very comfortable atmosphere and great location. Makes a good base for exploring the Old City and surrounds. Super conveniently located next to the bus station. Maybe take an AC room if you can, as the fan rooms can be hot on some days. Just found on my second night, there is a smaller light over the bed, gives a nice soft warm glow. Probably helps with insects too, so you can leave the window and door open to cool down. Terrace upstairs with hammocks and view. Will stay again next time I am in town :)

“Very cordial staff”

Staff was very cordial and flexible: they let us check out a bit later, helped us with scooter rental, kept the luggage and when we showed up after working hours with the rented scooter it wasn't a problem, offered us to use the facility Including showers while we waited for our bus. The hotel is located at 2 min walk from bus station and is worth the price you pay for it.
