We did not stay at the Moat View. There was nobody there when we arrived , no staff, no guests and entrance closed. We cancelled and a very helpful local drove us to THE OLD CITY BOUTIQUE HOUSE. Great choice. Spotless, great location, very helpful staff, decent-sized room. Highly recommended

Our accomodation looked like a cute little american vintage Motel at a quiet street in a very calm and peaceful area and there are free bicycles to explore the surrounding. In 5min you are in the center of the Old Town with a wonderful Night Market and the entrance to the historical park. Our little bungalow had hard (as usual in thailand) but comfortable beds, a little bathroom and a terrace with chairs and a small table. And the host was just amazing! She was so kind and attentive and even drove us to the busstation, so we didnt't have to walk with all our luggage. Thank you so much! Every morning she served us freshly cooked breakfast and different kinds of fresh fruit. We spent there two nights and got two completely different breakfasts. And the portions were huge!

The owner was very friendly gave us a lift to the bus station, the breakfast was exceptional every morning! We loved it thank you x

Fantastic value for money, amazing location next to the archeological park and the hospitality was nothing short of incredible! The owner provided us with bikes to explore the sites and her own personal motorcycle free of charge! She prepared a rich and tasty home cooked breakfast for us everyday, and as if all that weren’t enough, on our departure day she called the bus company to arrange a pick up closer to our location and drove us to the pickup spot herself, without us even asking. Thank you so much for everything! We’ll never forget you! 🙏🏼

Location and its staff. They were always attentive to our needs. They borrowed us bicycles for all family for free, which is the most comfortable way to visit old town

“Great place to stay in Sukhothai”

We arrived at the accommodation in the middle of the night, around 4:30 AM since we were travelling with a night bus. We were so happy to see the host was awake and gave us a temporary room for the rest of the night. This was a life saver for us. The breakfast was also good and it was included in the price. And one day when we came home early and had an upset stomach, the host allowed us to take some toast and small things from breakfast as a dinner. They also gave us free bikes which are very helpful to explore the old temples to Sukhothai. Overall, it was a great experience and we were lucky enough to catch the Lou Krathong festival, which was great. The host was kind enough to help us with the transfer to the bus station when we left, too.

It is not a 5 star resort, but I give it nethertheless 10 points. Very friendly and helpful people.

Host and her brother took us visiting Sukothai for two days which was very kind of them. Excellent and big Thai breakfast (Rice, Pad Thai)! They were really attentive and wanted to be sure we enjoyed our stay.
