Absolutely beautiful property, fabulous pool, and such friendly staff. Exceptional breakfast! Worth the price alone. Free bikes! Great location to old town and a fabulous restaurant 300 m down the road. I would stay here again and highly recommend it! Plus, Sokhothai is beautiful.

“Lovely relaxing place to stay in Sukhothai Old Town”

I had a lovely stay at Dorm of Happiness. I arrived late at night but the receptionist waited for me to check me in, thank you. The place itself is lovely. I booked a private room with a shared bathroom. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were also nice and clean. There was also a tea and coffee making station with free snacks right outside my room which was so nice as I wake up early most days. They also made up my bed everyday and gave me free water throughout my stay. There is a restaurant in the hotel too but I sadly didn't try it. The pool was lovely and clean. They were doing renovations to it when I stayed so the pool wasn't fully filled but nonetheless, it was nice and refreshing to dip in on a hot day. The location is great, only a 15-20 min walk to the Historical Park and the local market. They also offer free bike rentals which is great for exploring the Park.

Ok I LOVED my stay here. The manager Mr Won (i hope that is spelled right) was so kind. Ok especially great things are the air con in the rooms, the pool and the complimentary water and bananas. Also, i borrowed a bike each day to cycle around the old town on and it was perfect. I also paid extra for the breakfast and it did not disappoint - it was continental with croissants, cereal, eggs/bacon/sausage, thai treats - great selection. Breakfast is 6:30-9:30am so you have to be an earlish riser.

Great pool area. Staff were all lovely. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The location is great 1 minute walk to the night market

At night there were many flies and insects in the hallway area. Other than that, it was perfect!

This place is unique. On one hand, the rooms are very basic, more hostel-like, with shared bathrooms - and so is the price. On the other hand, the amenities are fantastic - the pool, free bikes that can be used even after checkout, delicious breakfasts, complimentary water and coffee. Plus, it is beautifully located in the garden (sounds of nature at night :)), and the staff is so nice and helpful. 10 stars, no doubt.

“Beautiful and amazing staff!”

Everything was perfect! The hotel is beautiful and charming. The staff was so nice, we had the bus at 09:00 pm and they proposed us to stay at the swimming pool the afternoon after visiting the temple and give us extra towel for taking a shower! Thank you for the kindness :)

Beautiful surroundings, lovely pool, great location and the bikes were so convenient! The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were lovely too. Definitely recommend this place!

The room was great with good air conditioning and the most comfortable bed I’ve had during 6 weeks of travelling Thailand! The bathrooms are huge and were always clean. The complimentary snacks and water were an added bonus. Breakfast included lots of different food options and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature, but still just around the corner from the historical park - only a 5 minute cycle and even less to the Main Street with restaurants, 7/11 etc. The free bike rental was amazing to have.

“Great place”

Clean, wide and comfy bed, big room, nice yard with the pool. Staff was very helpful, they allowed me to stay in pool area and use their facilities whole day after checkout. A bit outside of main area but free bicycles are genius idea and you can move around very fast!

“lovely resort atmosphere close to the park”

great location! not along the main busy road, so it was nice and peaceful, but still close enough to the park that I could cycle easily. there are free bicycles which make it easy to get around at all times of the day! the staff are very helpful and communication is no problem.

everything is so perfect free bicycle and nice room even a small swimming pool.also there is a nice garden highly recommend
