Cozy cabins, friendly host, everything looks really nice. The restaurant/reception is very unique, had a lovely drink by the fire there. The cabin was roomy and had everything we needed.

We chose this accommodation mostly for the location, close enough to Bessegen hike. It was rather quiet Our cabin was very close to the sanitary building with 2 well equipped kitchens, which was convenient. The cabin was equipped with a fridge, cooker, oven and water boiler and utensils Free showers Right when we left the camping, we spotted 2 reindeers !!

We really enjoyed our hut. It felt luxurious to have our own bathroom after camping for a few days. It was nice to be able to go hiking directly from the campground. It was also quiet.

“Good for short trip to Jotunheimen”

Good location for access to Jotunheimen national park. Nice walks and staff were very helpful with ideas for poorer weather Showers and toilets were kept very clean The bar / restaurant area is very quirky and cool with pretty reasonable prices as standard for the country

“Beautiful place”

We were visiting Sjodalen Hyttetun for 2 nights and regret that we didn't plan a longer stay because the place is wonderful! Lovely friendly owners and service-minded staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend ordering the lovely breakfast baskets delivered at the door in the morning.

- Camping for a good price - Charming restaurant - Free parking - Terrace - Kitchenette - Charming hobbit like houses. Try to book it if it will be available - Close enough by car to Bessegen hiking starting point - There was a problem with water when we came but hosts gave us free drinking water

I wanted the ‘Norwegian Experience’ and the super cozy hytte delivered. The restaurant is located in this Hobbit like grassed over dome with a central fireplace, creating a unique and intimate atmosphere. Smacked in the middle of nature, with the river Sjoa and the mountains all around you become part of the tranquil rhythm of the place. A fantastic experience with great, friendly and knowledgeable staff that are happy to support on your trip planning. The breakfast basket was too cute and delicious. I found the place as I wanted to climb Besseggen and stayed a day longer just to take it all in.

Exactly what we needed for our one night stay before heading to Besseggen. Great facilities, including kitchen to prepare our breakfast / lunch and clean showers. Loved the bar/restaurant with its local beers and live music on a Friday. Super friendly hosts!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is wll-equipped.
