The staff were so sweet and polite. They tried their best to make sure you have a good holiday. The room is very big, so great to have space! It was also very clean and you have a nice mountain view from the balcony

absolutely do not recommend!!! First of all, I wanted to give a positive review, because the room was sufficient and clean for our 2-night long stay. We thought only the breakfast was poor and the food a bit "tired", but everyone can have a different opinion on a good breakfast. The towels smelled musty, but we didn't mind, we had our own. So why don't I recommend it? On the first day, we went on a day trip and after our return, our friend found out that he had lost 1 can of beer, we were surprised, but we didn't do anything about it. On the second day we went to breakfast, there were 4 bottles of beer on the windowsill, after our arrival from breakfast there were only 2 bottles. We confronted the owner, who claimed that someone must have entered the room through the (closed) balcony door, because she was the only one with the key. She did not aggravate the situation in any way. Later, I read all the reviews on Booking, Google and Tripadvisor, where we found out that we are far from the first to whom this has happened and that it is the owner who steals the alcohol. It's sad that the owner has a problem with alcohol, but this really shouldn't happen, robbing guests!!!

- very poor breakfast - somebody has stolen the beer from the terrace and one bottle one wine from the wardrobe (!) The host didn't comment on this situation

“A peaceful & relaxing stay for a solo traveller on a budget”

The location was beautiful and the room was more spacious & light than I remembered from when I booked it, so I was very happy! It's hard to find a nice room for a solo traveller for a fair price, bc many places only have rooms they rent to two people and that's obviously more expensive if you have no one to split the costs with :) I'm not usually a breakfast person, but the buffet was quite elaborate, especially since I didn't see that many other guests. I was also worried that the walk from the station (20min) would involve inconvenient roads/steps/etc for me with my suitcase, but the route was flat, the pavement smooth and the view amazing! They have a lot of booklets with information about things to do in the zillertal, so it was easy for me to pick an amazing hike for the 1 full day I had to spend there (route nr. 5 in the booklet that climbs up the gerlossteinwand was a top 3 most beautiful hikes of my life for sure).
