“Wonderful historical hotel”
The staff are wonderful. Mia was lovely and we enjoyed chatting with her (made it feel like you were gating with friends). The dinner was delicious and the breakfast was fantastic. Daily housekeeping with towels great. We also made use of the laundry room which was nice as no other hotels in the area seem to offer this service.

“Old Hotel well maintained, excellent restaurant.”
This is an old Hotel but has been well maintained and effort has been made to provide a welcoming and comfortable stay. We were on the second floor, be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs. Our host helped us which was much appreciated. The breakfast was excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant on our first night as we arrived late. It was excellent as well

“A house away from home.”
We stayed in a self-catering cottage next to the hotel . The cottage was well equipped, clean, and there was lots of space. We have a 3 week trip, and sometimes you want to eat your own choice of food. There was a supermarket nearby what was really nice.

“Very nice hotel with exceptional service and comfortable rooms.”
Exceptional service and the historical significance of the hotel. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet with a fantastic view. The restaurant was very good with excellent food and service, our waiter was very friendly and informative of the hotel’s history and the local area.

“Historical house without a peace in the evening”
This is a very old buiding with history. Many historic artifacts were displayed around the hotel. Breakfast was classic but rather comprehensive.
