Good central location for trips around Faroe Island. We were happy that we did not book in Torshavn or Klaksvig. 2 supermarkets and 2 pizzariaes nearby.

It has a very good location to reach all the islands. Also it has a very comfortable living room with a stunning view into the bay. Supermarkets and a gas station are nearby and one can also go for a walk in the small village. A rental car is a must-have in our opinion. Parking space is in front of the house. The house has a good noise isolation so that trucks on the nearby busy road are not noticable.

“Excellent views and comfortable accommodation with easy access to the main islands.”
The views & location. It was all about the views for us when booking. The host was easy to deal with and getting access to the Boathouse was very easy and simple. The code was sent to us well in advance along with detailed notes on how to find the property. The view from the from the balcony was stunning (even if it was a little cloudy at times which was no fault of the host though) and it was very peaceful.

“A typical boathouse in a magnificent location”
Typical boathouse located right on the sea, with a magnificent view. Very quiet. The agency managing the rental (specifically Tròndur) was very kind and helpful. They answered our every questions and needs rapidly and efficiently, coming to the house (which is far away from town) several times for this purpose. The house is not far from a supermarket and very well located to explore the surrounding islands.
