“Good! I'd stay there again.”
The very friendly people who run the motel. They were happy to explain the meaning of the swastic & rangoli symbols in coloured powdered crystals on the doorstep & inside the office etc. They are, of course, associated with Diwali & the first day of the Hindu new year. Very elaborate designs, difficult to make & super delicate as anything that touched them would turn them into a mess.

There is no breakfast but they directed me to Features which is my go-to breakfast place anyway. Location is fine. The only disapointment was that the headboards were in sad repair(ripped and cracked leather.

“Beds were very comfortable and firm. Pillows were firm too. I had a very good sleep.”
The gardens were lovely and it was enjoyable to sit on the chairs in the morning.

Lovely people at the desk, nice comfortable family feel. Nice grassy area for coffee. Close to Tim Horton. 5 mins to town by car.

We had to walk through a foot of snow to get to the room. Very unsafe.
