Part of the HanseDom Recreation & Leisure Park, this hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, international cuisine, and large rooms with a seaside theme. It is 3 km from Stralsund. All rooms of the Wyndham Stralsund HanseDom include seating areas with satellite TV. Sunny yellow colours and bathrobes make for a comfortable stay. Free Wi-Fi is available. A breakfast buffet is provided. International specialities are served in the PRIME Restaurant & Bar, and the PRIME Restaurant & Barprovides healthy snacks. Children will enjoy the HanseDom’s Käpt'n Nielson Beach Restaurant, which is designed in the shape of a ship. The HanseDom Stralsund features a gym, tennis courts, and squash and badminton courts. The island of Rügen is a 10-minute drive away, and is great for hiking and cycling.

“A good decent hotel”
We only stayed here 1 night to take the ferry to Bornholm the next day. The hotel offers everything you need for a (quick) stay. It has a restaurant (although we went for the Dominos pizza nearby), the breakfast in the morning is good and the parking is right next to the hotel which is nice. Checkin/out was easy and the staff was very friendly. If we'd stayed 1 day longer we would definitely have visited the nearby zoo :)

The mattress was very uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The staff were not particularly friendly, and we were surprised that not even a complimentary bottle of water was provided. We ordered the pork steak from the restaurant, it was expensive but unfortunately lacked flavor. On a positive note, the hotel has a central location and convenient parking.

“Misleading, unkept and overpriced”
This hotel is worn down and grosly overpriced. The pictures are highly misleading. There is no gym, no pool or other facilities, the hotel is simply NEXT to them, but nothing is included.

“A warm, pet-friendly stay with great amenities and a delicious breakfast!”
We arrived very late, but the receptionist welcomed us warmly and quickly checked us in so that we could rest as soon as possible. The hotel is clean and tidy, in a quiet location, and we weren't disturbed by anything. The bathroom was spacious and equipped with everything necessary. The only thing I would add is that bathrobes could be provided in the room. The interior is very beautiful and cozy, with a lighthouse that lights up. We really liked the décor, which gives a nautical theme and makes you feel like you're on a ship. Breakfast was an additional cost of around 13 euros per person, but we were tired and didn't feel like going to the store, so we decided to have breakfast at the hotel. There was a wide selection of food, and everything was very tasty. We also brought our dog with us, and he enjoyed it too. We noticed that many guests had brought their pets. The only downside is that there is an additional charge of about 15 euros per night for pets. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

Best feature was access to an excellent fitnesscentre and very good spa with saunas and cold tub. Also in connection with the HanseDom recreational pool centre (but did not have time to use). Good for families.

Building needs renovation from outside, the house looks old and a little dirty and old! inside of the hotel and the rooms have been renovated and all in all they were quite comfortable, family room big enough! all was good but work on renovating the hotels facade!
