Overview
Located in Stralsund Old Town, Pension Am Ozeaneum offers comfortable rooms directly on the coast of the Baltic Sea. The guest house is also beside the Stralsund Aquarium. Free WiFi is provided. All rooms at Pension Am Ozeaneum are designed in classic style, and feature a TV with cable channels, a seating area, and a minibar. The en suite bathroom includes a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The countryside of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is ideal for hiking and cycling, and bikes can be rented from the hotel. It is just a 2-minute walk to the pedestrian area in Stralsund town centre. Guests with bikes can store them away at the hotel. A breakfast buffet is provided each morning, and there are several restaurants offering German and Greek cuisine within a 5-minute walk of the hotel. Pension Am Ozeaneum is 1.5 km from Stralsund Train Station, and it is a 25-minute drive to the A20 motorway which connects to Rostock.

“Boring place to stay”
Location is good, facility is clean. But reception is empty by default, and whenever the lady comes, she’d give you the keys, say literally 2 sentences and disappear.

“Nice location, pity about the room.”
location was excellent - that's why we chose Pension Am Ozeaneum. There was also a cellar room for cycle storage and it was easy to get in and out of the premises, using just one key. Breakfast was fine. No complaints there and the housekeeper quickly replenished any depleted items. In the room the bath/shower was very smart and well provisioned - with the exception of no hooks for hanging anything - and no soap tray in the shower! Obviously designed by a man (!) - see my next point.

“Great for short stays in the city”
Great central location, nice breakfast, possibility of parking. Small but sufficient room. Towels and hairdryer included. Friendly staff.
