“Cosy stay and a warm welcome in the heart of the old town”

The building is over 200 years old and has a lot of character and charm. The friendly owner has furnished and decorated each room with individual style and taste, with lovely lamps, artworks and sculptures. It is the nicest, most cosy single room I've ever stayed in, with everything you need. The breakfast was fantastic, I also loved the decor in the breakfast room. The owner and her staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.

Very good central but quiet location, easily walked from thne station. Breakfast was pleaseant through the decor in the breakfast room was not to our taste. The bedroom was good, overlooking the courtyard and with a view of a church spire.

Excellent and varied breakfast, something new added every day. The lady at the reception was very pleasant, helpful, speaking several languages. The location is really great - a few steps to the historic center, to the sea and to the promenade as well. Comfortable beds, spacious room and bathroom, equipped kitchenette, stylish furniture with design elements.

The room was absolutely lovely. Like a home from home. It overlooked a courtyard garden and a blackbird even visited my window. The bathroom was great and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel was quiet, which was much appreciated as I had to prepare for a presentation one night. The wifi worked very well. Breakfast was amazing and was served in a beautiful room, each table covered with white linen. The hotel was located opposite 2 banks and very close to the city centre and the Ozeanum. There are good bus links, although figuring out where to catch the buses was a bit tricky. I felt safe walking back to the hotel alone after night-time events. I can't recommend this guest house enough! I had a much better experience staying there than many of my conference colleagues did staying in the bigger (and more expensive) hotels in Stralsund.

Great location with everything in walking distance. breakfast buffet is quite big and diverse. Room was quite big and interior had a very authentic and unique design. Not the usual boring mainstream hotel design.

The breakfast was rich with choices, excellent. The room was spacious and decorated with many artistic details, small statues and paintings, lamps etc. The water flow in the kitchen corner was very weak, but shower was OK in that sense and otherwise, too. Bed was wide and good. All and all the room was a part of a very old building so we did not expect it to be very modern. The kitchen was modern, though. Did not need that for more than heating water for tea and washing dishes.
