It was very clean, friendly staff and amazing games for the whole family. It is a beautiful location.

Room was nice and spacious. The common area was really fun and we enjoyed playing with the board games. Staff was really nice and prepared us a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Location is spectacular, walking distance to all restaurants and pubs. A lot of adventurous activities in the area as well.

Everything about the Village Lodge was great and exceeded our expectations. The staff are incredibly helpful! Breakfast was superb. The staff helped with booking activities and were so accommodating when I fell ill and needed a later check out. Without a doubt, I would stay here again, great value for money, very clean and excellent customer service.

Central location and close to all the restaurants and bars. Excellent staff in particular Rita who was a font of information and very caring as my wife was not feeling 100%. An authentic atmosphere and very tranquil.

“Disappointing experience on returning visit”

I previously stayed at this establishment a couple of years ago and had a very positive experience, including clean, modern family rooms and a good breakfast that was included in the rate. Based on that experience, I chose to book in here again. Unfortunately, this recent stay was extremely disappointing. The rooms I was allocated this time (Yellowood and Sunshine) or something were in very poor condition. They had damaged and outdated cupboards visible at the entrance, an unpleasant musty smell, and old carpets. The bedding and décor were also worn and unappealing, making the rooms feel neglected and uncomfortable. In contrast to my previous stay, these rooms felt poorly maintained and far below the standard I expected. In addition, the price of R220 per person, for breakfast, is excessive considering the condition of the rooms. On my previous visit, breakfast was included in the rate, which made the value for money far better than what was offered this time. The only positive aspect of my stay was the friendly and helpful staff member at check-in. Unfortunately, this was not enough to compensate for the poor room quality and overall experience. I regret to say that, based on this visit, I will not be booking at this establishment again unless significant improvements are made.

We stayed here as a group of three and had a pleasant experience. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped with the basics we needed. Check-in was easy and the space worked well for our stay. Overall a good choice and good value for money.
