A great place for exploring the glacier and the nearby area. The cottage is indeed stylish, with attention to details and provides all the necessities, even some toys for kids. Would definitely recommend.

“Cosy spacious cottage”
The cottage was cosy and clean. The hot tub was perfect and we enjoyed playing the guitar. The beds were comfortabele. The host was very friendly.

The view from the cottage was wonderful, the hot tub perfect, and it has a warmy rocking chair in the middle of the living room. The washing machine and the dryer were very useful. Very comfortable. The children were very pleased to play the guitar that was placed in the living room.

The only minor downside is that the location is not the best, but other than that, it is impeccable. (Even so, there are some advantages: there’s little traffic nearby, and it is close to Hraunfossar - Barnafoss, a 10-minute drive). The house is very spacious and bright, with three bedrooms and a large living area, and the kitchen is well equipped. Outside the house, there is a hot tub where you can enjoy the nice view, incl. the distant snowy mountain. It is very suitable for family trips.
