Loved the location, stunning views from every window. We really enjoyed that it's an old house with history, and the host was able to share some of that with us. It's very quiet but close to everything (shops in Leknes, beaches, tunnel to the south island). We saw a moose in the garden the first night, enjoyed the bird life, walked from the house up a nearby hill for amazing views and midnight sun. Enjoyed a bbq over the fire pit in the garden. It was wonderful and we were sad to leave.

The accommodation boasts breathtaking sea views – through the floor-to-ceiling windows, we enjoyed the stunning blue waters and majestic mountains. The location is very convenient, with easy access to major attractions and the harbor. Well located in the middle of Lofoten close to services in Leknes, beaches and hiking routes. Very scenic location looking over the fjord and mountains. A large living/dining area catered well for our group. A large, modern well equipped kitchen suitable to cook for a crowd. Beds were comfortable and the house was warm. The owners were friendly and attentive.

“The Norwegian vintage dream”

PederStua was our favorite stay out of the ten places we booked in Norway. It’s a beautifully renovated historical fisherman’s house with the perfect mix of old charm and modern comfort. The backyard view is absolutely stunning. Sitting on a hill, the house overlooks the fjord, mountains, and open grassland—it feels like a picture-perfect slice of Norway. With only two neighbors in front, it’s peaceful and private. Inside, the house is cozy and well-maintained. The kitchen is new and fully equipped, while the living room keeps its old charm with high-quality vintage furniture. The small oven adds to the cozy atmosphere. Parking is no problem either—there’s space for at least ten cars in front. If you’re looking for a charming and comfortable stay in an amazing location, PederStua is the perfect choice. “Just perfect!”

Leaving the E10, driving down a short gravel road, reaching the brightly yellow painted Pederstua, opening the front door and instantly feeling like visiting dear friends or close relatives was our first impression and it kept beeing a lasting one. We especially loved the beautifully and elegantly decorated very spacious house and the perfectly equipped kitchen (and the washing machine and tumbler as well; we also appreciated the iron🙂) and most of all we loved the tranquility of the place and the breathtaking vistas from every single room. One could spend a whole day sitting in one of the the comfortable armchairs in the living room just enjoying the scenic landscape, watching the clouds pass by, listening to the birds and observe the moose which majestically swept across the garden and the surrounding meadows actually almost every day. Though Pederstua is quiet and peaceful, a lot of leisure acivities are within short reach, like many many hiking tracks, sea eagle safaris, fishing trips or the viking museum in Borg, just to name some. Leknes with its restaurants and shops is just a 5 minutes drive away. The owners have always been very kind, sympathetic, helpful and approachable and provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. We can highly recommend Pederstua and if we ever should come back to the Leknes area without thinking twice this home would be our first choice👍

“A beautiful house in the middle of the Lofoten Islands”

The house is on a great place middle of Lofoten Islands. It’s an older house of Family Peder with great history. At the same time the house has been modernized and has a perfect equipment by today’s standards. Large windows viewing sea, mountains and the fisher harbor. The family renting the property are very friendly, answering questions immediately and helping us if needed. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Lofoten Islands. We hope that we will be able to return there later.

Everything. Nicely decorated, excellent views and right in the middle of Lofoten so an excellent place to visit everywhere. The house was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfortable.

“Excellent base for photography enthusiasts, quiet and close to some amazing Lofoten landmarks”

Pederstua is very spacious. We traveled as a family and used four bedrooms. It's a fantastic location, close to Leknes where to buy groceries or go out to dine, but also close to many natural landmarks we wanted to experience. The house was comfortably warm when we arrived after a long drive, so that was very appreciated. Sverre was a gracious host, provided us with extra equipment like snowshoes, crampons, backpack, etc... all new in perfect conditions, and was happy to give us tips about possibilities for hikes in the area.

Everything was perfect. The housse is vert cosy, cocooning and very well equiped. The view is magic ! We feel very good. We had a very good stay. Thank you !!

“Awesome cozy place”

Super cozy place, its close to the city but you feel like its pretty remote. Its close to the main road but there is no noise. Great view over the water. Fully equiped laundry room and kitchen. Really felt like home. Also - There is EV charger outside the house - pretty convinient. And we saw aurora on half of the nights, one day it was pretty strong.
