Great location on the harbour practically next door to a couple of the best pubs and restaurants in Stonehaven. The footpath to Dunnottar Castle is just around the corner.

As soon as we got to the property Paul made us feel extremely welcome. The breakfast was the best we had seen . The rooms were very clean and the showers had good pressure and were hot.

We liked everything! Staff were amazing, the room is a little tight but very comfortable and the location trumps all! It didn't take us more than 20 minutes in Stonehaven to realize we should have booked 2 nights!

It was the perfect B&B even though we weren't expecting breakfast. We thought we were staying at a holiday home, but Paul was on site, and supplied everything you would want for a continental breakfast, and asked us for anything extra we desired, and would pick it up during the day.

We chose to stay in the area of Stonehaven mainly to visit the Dunnottar Castle, which was amazing, but we experienced much more than that during our stay here. Shorehead Guesthouse is beautiful and in a fantastic location, right on the little harbour. Our host, Paul is friendly and offered suggestions for dining and adventures in the area. The breakfast was great, we helped ourselves to an array of quality food and beverages and Paul was on hand for anything we required. The view from the dining/living room was stunning.

Location was superb, it was a well appointed room with a very comfortable bed, breakfast was lovely as was the host.

Paul is an excellent host who carefully arranges everything to accommodate his guests needs.His friendly hospitality offers a welcoming check in. A generous, varied breakfast menu makes for a great start to the day in a really attractive and interesting fishing harbour setting with some excellent restaurants and walks. We greatly enjoyed our anniversary weekend at Shorehead Guesthouse.
