This property was an old farm house that has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. It is very comfortable with plenty of room. Sylvia and her husband are very welcoming and attentive to your every need. Being able to use the kitchen facilities was great only eclipsed by the utterly delicious breakfast. The garage and charging facilities were also great for our bikes.

It is beautifully constructed with great attention to detail. Everything has been done with a lot of love and still it is also very practical. For example, in the room I was in is a beautiful large photo of three cows from this area, that takes up one whole wall. The area itself is like paradise with lots of greenery, cows, flowers and water. I slept incredibly well. It is very quiet. It is in an excellent location, with simple access to the city of Gouda. I took public transport to get there and walked the 15 mins from Stolwijk Dorp to the hotel. I had breakfast there and it was delicious, very large and had a lot of local food. The highlight was eating the Gouda Cheese from the local area. Willar and Sylvia are super friendly authentic people and were very helpful.

We really felt in love with that place. Delicious breakfast with huge selection, decorations and the style of whole house and hospitality of the Willar and Sylvia are magic mix of unforgettable stay. I am so happy that I decided to stay there and in case we plan another trip to the area for sure we will stay there!

The charming accommodation is in an old farmhouse that’s been totally renovated and modernised on the inside. We didn’t have breakfast because of a breakfast occasion elsewhere so can’t comment on that. The room we stayed in was big, roomy, the bed also big with a good firm mattress, tea and coffee making facility in the room. Big kitchen downstairs, free for all guests to use (only 2 rooms in this B&B). The accommodation is in a quiet, rural area full. The windows all had screens to keep mosquitoes out. There’s enough car parking space right outside the main door to the house.
