The room was big enough, we had an own bathroom, washing machine and kitchen, which is great. the staff was super friendly. We loved this place because of entertaining facilities, such as: ping-pong, darts, massage chair, scary room and others. the one wouldn't get bored..

The recreation area was great. 24/7 check-in and the electronic massage chair were awesome! Staff were responsive.

Huge apartment style room. Common spaces are huge too. The staff really helped make us feel at home and even tapped the door to let us know the northern lights were out.

Huge hostel, with a large equipped kitchen, large common areas and very clean. Inside there are a small bar, ping pong table and other games...we were a group so we had so much fun. We saw the sunset over the sea from the big window and the northern lights from the terrace, such a wonderful evening! Jirka was very kind and always present for us from our arrival to our departure. Fully recommended!!

Good value. Nothing fancy and unpretentious. We all slept so well. The place is really quiet. The host was friendly and kind in the messages she sent. Of all the p,aces we stayed at in Iceland, this was the only one which charged a realistic price. Well done!

The place is huge, the room was extremely spacious, clean and the kitchen corner was perfectly usable. Jirka is a very nice, friendly host. The idea of the ghosts of Iceland for some of the common rooms is original and funny. We would have liked to go to the "ghost house" adjoined to the hotel, but it was closed. Jirka proposed to turn it on for us only. Overall we can recommend the place.

The kitchen is very large with all important utensils you need. There is free coffee. The location is good. It close to the city with beach front. There are many clean toilets.

We were looking for a place to spend a night (and re-pack after 12 days camping in Iceland) before flying out the next day early morning (driving time to Keflavik airport was bout 1:20). The ArtHostel was perfect as there is a lot of common space which we could use to dry things and re-pack.

I liked the hepful Crew, the comfortable bed. I slept well. There was Cafee and hot water at the kitchen. The building surroundings was an intersting seaside area. we collected cool things from the shore.

I liked independent check in and size of the room was great.

We stayed in the big family apartment. Host was very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Living room had a really beautiful view to the landscape. Nice playgrounds in the near. Coastline in the near. Petrol station and small grocery shop in the near. Very calm place, I was able to let out the children and be not worried about them.
