Katrina was the perfect host , so easy going and helpful , the views from the terrace are stunning and it’s a lovely 5 min walk along the pebble beach to stenni vala where every restaurant we ate in was superb , just a perfect 5 days relaxing getaway

Spacious room with kitchenette. Very tidy and clean. Nice shower gel and shampoo provided, just lovely. The gorgeous beach is a 2 minute walk away. The town is a 5 minute walk in the other direction. The location is perfect. Katarina is a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We were pretty sad to leave after our 5 nights.

Everything was just perfect for us at Casa Kalypso! Katerina is a wonderful host, genuinely kind and welcoming. You can see the amount of care and attention to detail that are poured into this place, and we felt right at home.

The location was perfect, right next to the beach and a short walk from restaurants. So peaceful and beautiful. We loved the layout of the room and it was spotlessly clean with all the facilities we could hope for.

It was a very cosy property right next to the sea, kept clean, with a ceiling fan and aircon for the warm weather! Katerina, the host, was fantastic - super helpful friendly and considerate.

We stayed at Casa Kalypso for 5 nights, and could definitely have stayed longer! Communication with our hosts was great and check-in was a smooth process. We received some homemade welcome gifts, which was a lovely personal touch! Our studio was lovely - very clean and comfortable, well-equipped, beautifully decorated and with a stunning view of the ocean. We shared a large patio with a few other studios, which was a wonderful breakfast and coffee spot with an amazing view. Snorkelling equipment, SUP boards and kayaks are available for guests to use. It's a 5min walk (or less) to two beaches - one with a beach bar, one quieter and perfect for swimming! Casa Kalypso is a 10min walk from Steni Vala harbour. We fell in love with Steni Vala village - it has such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and great restaurant options (can highly recommend Fanari fish tavern for dinner, and Icarus Cafe for breakfast/light lunch or dinner/drinks). If you are looking for a place to slow down, be present and enjoy the sun and sea, I would highly recommend Casa Kalypso (as well as Steni Vala and Alonissos as a whole!)

“A very special place”

A truly relaxing, serene place for a tranquil holiday. Stunning sea views and great food at the Steni Vala tavernas a few minutes walk away. Studios lovely with everything you need and extremely comfortable mattresses/bedding. Katerina is the most kind and gracious host.

“Fantastic guesthouse in excellent and tranquil location”

Amazing guesthouse with immediate access to two lovely beaches, one with a small bar with sunbeds & umbrellas. Ten minute walk along the beach to the lovely harbour village of Steni Vala (excellent food at Tassia's) Caterina the owner was more than welcoming and made the experience a bit like being guests in her house. The room was lovely with a small kitchenette, perfect for making breakfast to have on the beautiful terrace. The large & covered terrace is shared with other rooms so would be ideal if you went with family / friends... next time!

An amazing place to stay, with beautiful views and a great beach to swim/snorkel. Lots of sea-life to see as well, and the kayaks and paddle boards made exploring easy. The studio apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed, and Katerina was very helpful, organising taxis and dinner bookings for us. We loved our stay and hope to be back next year!

Simply wonderful. A small piece of paradise near Steni Vala. Excellent space, with cozy rooms, built in the same style of elevated spaces used in traditional houses, with majestic views of Peristera island from the spacious balconies. All of which though would say little, unless one added Katerina's warm hospitality and careful touches in making the place a serene Shangri-La.

Beautiful situation, a few metres from the beach. Very nice room and the friendliest of welcomes. Ecologically aware and very clean. A wonderful place for a quiet week in Greece.

Super nice localtion and environment. Very friendly host and close to excellent restaurant. Nice to sit on the terrace and just relax looking out on the sea. We hired a car to get around, Alonissos is great for hiking.

An extraordinary place next to the sea. Tastefully furnished apartments with a rich offer of contents. The kind owner, Katerina, does everything to make you feel special, from a gift upon arrival to help with recommendations. Alonisos enchanted us!

We chose Casa Kalypso for our honeymoon and we couldn't have made a better choice. It's located in a small and beautiful fisherman village Steni Vala, which is exactly what we were looking for - peaceful, tranquil, crystal clear sea, pine trees and oleanders. The accommodation was super clean, well furnished - powerful ceiling fan and AC unit as well. Bed was comfortable, so were the pillows :) The kitchen was well equipped even if you plan to cook there (which we did only once) - what we appreciated the most was that there was a clean frenchpress and also a moka pot so we could make a fresh coffee in the morning. Free kayaks and paddleboards for the guests :) Our apartment was only steps away from 2 beautiful beaches. We used to go to the one with SUELTO beach bar with sunbed - a sweet place to be, sunbeds under olive trees, good food and drinks. The apartments are approx. 8 min walking to the tiny center of Steni Vala, with awesome tavernas and a small mini market. Katerina, the owner is the sweetest person, the communication was excellent - she really takes care of you during your stay and makes sure you're happy :) Just a small hint - we did not rent a car, so Katerina helped us and booked a taxi for us - booking a taxi for a certain time is always a good idea as there are only 4 taxis on the island. Overall, this is a really lovely place to stay, do not hesitate if you do :) You're gonna love it!
