I had an amazing time here and I would really recommend Guesthouse Vasiliki. This is the 4:th time that I stay at Guesthouse Vasiliki and there are many good reasons for this: - First the absolutely stunning view over the village, forest, hills – I love especially the view in the morning during the excellent homemade breakfast when the sun is shining over the hill with forest. - I couldn’t think of a better breakfast – very good and even for me as a vegetarian. Absolutely delicious! - The very friendly and caring staff on the hotel. Thank you so much! - Beautiful garden and building. - The area with small villages, great hiking opportunities, the green lush landscape and the impressive mountains. I will absolutely stay at Guesthouse Vasiliki again when visiting Evia.

Our room was not as expected for this price. Bed on the floor and no curtain in the shower tab made it inconvenient even for a night stay.

“Beautiful stay in Steni”

We had very nice cozy stay at this guesthouse. The room was big and beautiful. The location of the hotel is also very nice within the woods and the views of the mountains outstanding. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty.

Very good location with fantastic view. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food.

The guesthouse is placed uphill, so it is ideal to reach by vehicle. There is a parking space, and the rooms are autonomous— you don’t have to pass by the reception every time you return to the hotel. Rooms are beautiful, clean and warm, and they provide anything you might need. We stayed at the standard category and were more than pleased. We were welcomed with clean sheets, a set bed and changed bath mats every day of our stay. The standard room even had a small balcony overlooking the garden, which was more than welcome. Breakfast was also included in our reservation, buffet—style with few but very pleasing choices, with simple and local ingredients. The eggs and the bread specifically, were fresh and local. Overall, we were more than pleased with our stay and it would be our pleasure to return to Vasiliki Guesthouse.

We spent two pleasant nights in Vasiliki Guest house. The rooms, the environment, and specially the crew made us feel family like. Spacial thanks to Elefteria. We shall be happy to come back again some day.

Beautiful secluded guest house but only 5 minutes walk to the village. Our room had a lovely view of the village and the forest, highlight was the herd of goats that passed outside our window one day! So lovely! The people are super kind and helpful! We definitely recommend it.

Wonderful simple and peaceful place

“Gorgeous guesthouse in a mountain paradise!”

The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the central square (plateía) of Stení. Parking was excellent. The room was spacious, cute and clean. It had a balcony with a great view, and a nice little outdoor seating area. We were also able to dry our laundry there. The hosts were so kind and helpful. They served us a nice breakfast every day (it was different every day: sometimes eggs, sometimes pies, sometimes yogurt or pudding, but always cake) and lent us a map of the surrounding area. Stení is lovely, and not at all touristy! You won't find souvenir shops selling useless junk, or loud music at night, or glamorous party people. It's just a quiet little Greek mountain village, and the people are so nice. They love their mountain paradise! The water that comes out of the faucets everywhere comes straight from the mountains and it is delicious. We can't wait to go back.
