“Great hospitality in Stemnitsa”

We loved this guesthouse which is really a home. Tasos is very friendly and helpful and his grandmother makes you feel welcome just by her presence and smiles. We had a room with a private porch to a beautiful garden. Breakfast was great.

Very nice stay in the beautiful mountain village of Stemnitsa. Tasos and his grandmother did everything to make you feel at home. Breakfast is very good with many home made products. Room was very nice, beds comfortabel. Bathroom was good and also a nice terras where you can enjoy a drink. The village has a friendly atmosphere. We liked it a lot.

This was the perfect place to stay the night before starting the Menalon Trail. The staff were super friendly and helpful. This included facilitating our late check (Because we had to come from Athens Airport). The room was absolutely fine with loads of hot water and clean bedding etc. Breakfast was superb and plentiful comprising mainly of home made and traditional sweet and savory delicacies. Just what we needed to set us up for a day’s walking.

A really lovely guesthouse, at the beginning of the Menalon trail. Our host was excellent at keeping in contact and very available while we were at the property. A charming room with a terrace and so much birdsong. The breakfast was filling, fresh and delicious.

“Cozy space, great for a family, thoughtful owners”

This was a fantastic stay for our family of four. Our kids (3 and 6) loved the fireplace and the village was a perfect place to explore the surrounding trails. The owners even brought us some apple cake in the evening. This was one of the nicest travel experiences I have had in a long time. Highly recommended.

Our gracious host Tasos made us feel very welcome. The breakfast featured home made corn bread and jellies one morning and spinach pies the next--so tasty! Parking in front, nice restaurant nearby, gourmet pastry shop next door. The room was great with a spacious outdoor deck and jacuzzi.

Guesthouse Stemnitsa is perfect. Brilliant communication, exceptionally clean and lovely owners. Our room was perfect with a quiet garden view and large veranda. The room was super comfortable and really well situated for getting anywhere. All in all we cannot recommend it highly enough. It was also excellent value for money.

“Very comfortable relaxing overnight stay”

Warm friendly welcome. Large comfortable well equipped bedroom with en suite. Balcony overlooking garden. Very convenient location in Stemnitsa. We’d walked all day from Dimitsana so the chance to relax, have a local meal nearby and time to rest the next morning was very welcome. Thank you for a lovely stay in a beautiful place.

Most welcoming, charming and helpful from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was cosy and comfortable. Would totally recommend.

I was warmly welcomed and shown everything I needed, as well as invited to have coffee and treats. It was a great place to stay, close to everything, quiet and cosy.

A delightful and comfortable accomodation with a friendly and generous hostess. Cake, wine and juice provided on our arrival after a long and winding journey was much appreciated. Spring water, not bottled and bulk soap/shampoo dispensers were more sustainable than most places we have stayed. A delightful terrace to enjoy a quiet moment. Lovely embroidered bed linen completed the homely touches to this sweet guest house.

The peace, the warmth of the staff, and the environment made us feel at home from the very beginning. The woman in charge is super kind and helped us with some laundry, despite she didn't speak much English, she was lovely with us and took good care of our stay offering some delicious orange pie and warm clothes for the cold days. I recommend a lot.

Very charming place. Its always cool, even in the warmest summer day. Beautiful yard and table to eat outside. The room has everything you need for a family stay. Walking distance to the village center and a wonderful bakery next door. Highly recommended

Very nice hostess, nice and comfortable room

We had a lovely large room with an actual bath, which was wonderful to soak in. The bed was quite comfortable, and we had fat fluffy pillows. We didn't see the owners at all after we checked in, so we didn't get to know them. The town of Stemnitsa is gorgeous. At this time, in late May, there were three or four coffee shops open and one taverna with limited offerings.

Traditional guest house in a great location in the town. Parking right outside. Lovely host who is very helpful. Lovely room with a great outdoors space. The room was spotlessly clean.
