In an altitude of 1,050 metres in Stemnitsa village, Archontiko tis Zois is housed in a 100-year-old mansion. It offers traditional accommodation and a buffet breakfast served daily at the lounge area with the fireplace. Combining the wood with the stone, all rooms open to a balcony or patio with views of the village. Each has a flat-screen TV, mini fridge and kettle. Free toiletries and a hairdryer are provided. Some rooms also come with a fireplace. The village square with traditional taverns and the Folk Museum is within a 5-minute walk from Archontiko tis Zois. Vytina is at 15 km and Mainalon Ski Centre is around a 30-minute drive away. Staff can arrange rafting and kayaking activities in River Lousios, at 15 km.

“Comfortable traditional guesthouse”
Comfortable and quiet place in the high part of the village. Good breakfast with local products. This was my second time staying here while hiking.

“Coziest hotel”
The hotel is not only super cozy and clean, but well located, with a kind and smiley host, that was super attentive and took some of his time to talk with us. We highly recommend this place! Definitely the coziest hotel we stayed in nine days in Greece.

“A Great Place to Stay”
Semnitsa is a delightful town and the accommodation was an ideal setting to enjoy the town. The welcome and facilities were excellent. A good sized room which was very clean and well maintained. Sitting on our rooms balcony enjoying the view in the sunshine was an added bonus. A good buffet breakfast was provided.

“A great place to stay in Stemnitsa.”
The two owners are lovely people and very helpful. There is good close parking. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. Walking into town was quite easy.

“Medieval stay in the hills of Greece with the kindest employees”
We stayed two nights at Archontiko tis Zois and loved it! The house is an old-style stone house and the rooms bring you back to medieval times with their wooden window closings and furniture. The owner was super helpful giving directions (because a road was closed) via WhatsApp and the employee Mr. Panagiotis was super nice. We communicated via Google Translate and he was the sweetest person. The apartment is located at the end of Stemnitsa and you can easily walk to the small center. There is also a parking 50m away from the apartments. You can either directly leave by foot to walk the Melanon trail or go to various hiking spots by car. We had a very peaceful sleep, and usually got up early as most other hikers. 100% recommend!

“Lovely stay, we would stay there again”
The guys were super hospitable and super flexible. The room was large and had a small fridge, kettle, and water. Sipping tea on your private balcony and inhaling the beauty of the place is unique. Loved the fireplace - very well made and we were provided with everything one needs to make a fire quickly and easily.
