Overview
Located in a winery, The Country Guesthouse offers luxury accommodation with extensive views of the countryside. It features a rustic restaurant, a wine cellar and an outdoor pool. Strand Beach is a 15-minute drive away. The cottages and family suites feature a private bathroom and a satellite TV. Some feature a seating or dining area and a kitchenette. A buffet breakfast is served daily using local produce. Guests can dine with views of Table Mountain at the 96 Winery Road restaurant, featuring a menu with a South African twist and wines to complement each meal. Guests can sunbathe poolside, enjoy a drink at the unique outdoor lounge area, or walk through the tranquil gardens with stone pavement walkways. Local activities include swimming, hiking and trail walking. Heidelberg Nature Reserve is a 10-minute drive away. The Country Guesthouse is a 25-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport. An airport shuttle is available upon request. Free private parking is available at the B&B.

“Our stay was the more the we could have imagine, memorable”
We went to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday and it was everything and so much more than we expected. We definitely going back with our whole family and to try the pool as well. The auncle who was on duty was so helpful with the wood that we asked for. Thank you so much Country Guesthouse for making every penny worth it, and making my husband's 30 memorable ❤️🙏🫶 The fire place was our favourite off all just being Infront of the fire place in the winter. Top notch🤏👌👌 Breakfast was also the best and staff were friendly.

“A great and pleasant stay in a nice an quiet area between Stellenbosch and Somerset West”
The rooms are extra large. The beds are so confortable. The area is just beautiful, the garden, the pool, the trees and the vineyard and on the side of the property. The restaurant, is a very good meat restaurant. The breakfast is also amazing.

Really large comfortable room, a little dated, but it didn't matter. We never got chance to use the pool but it looked nice. The restaurant was excellent and was one of the reasons we chose the hotel as we wanted to eat on site. The hotel's location is really good as it's close to Cape Town so you can stay before driving to the airport or use it as a base to visit route 44, an exceptional drive or of course the wineries.

“Beautiful grounds in rustig atmosphere”
The restaurant has EXCELLENT food, and the guesthouse has beautiful grounds, staff was SUPER friendly. We really like it! I can recommend.

“Pleasant stay”
We were very surprised by the size of our room. The living accommodation was spacious and comfortably furnished. The bathroom with walk in shower was a good size. The breakfasts offered good choices, each day I had a mini cooked breakfast and a bowl of healthy granola. That set me up for the rest of the day until my evening meal. Staff were very friendly

“Nice place to relax”
The rooms were very spacious. The breakfast was really nice. At the restaurant in the evening we had a nice sunset to be viewed from our table. We were staying one night only, but we would have liked to stay some more nights.

“Great stay”
Lovely guesthouse near to Stellenbosch, easy access but in a beautiful vineyard setting. Great restaurant - you do need to book for dinner as it’s popular. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff. Good value.

BBQ/Braai facilities available on request. Please not that there is an option to put in 2 beds (and put out the large double) on request. The rates will be the same as the sharing rate for a large double bed booking.
