Overview
Located on Helshoogte Pass between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, Le Pommier Country Lodge is set amongst the vineyards overlooking the Banhoek Valley. It offers a restaurant. The country-style rooms and suites are well appointed. Each has a patio, seating area, flat-screen TV and air-conditioning. Some of the units have self-catering facilities. “I had a one night stay for a wedding and everything i needed was provided including a lovely breakfast under the trees.”
The setting was lovely, the rooms well planned abd the staff warm, friendly and helpful. They kept me up to date with messages on my phone including a useful offer to check in early if I wished.

I was badly treated bu Candice the lady who was suppose to welcome . She was not there to welcome me and was ushered to dirty room and then I complaint only to make matters worse . There was nothing to be liked as was kicked out the place by Candice in front of her restaurant colleagues

“Sleepless”

“DISGUSTING !”
There was no power and no water. We were then moved to a different room where there was still no water. When the water returned, we requested to be returned to our room. They were unable to do so because they had given our room to other guests. Do not recommend you stay or visit this place.

Beautiful location surrounded by mountains and wineries. Lovely clean pool including blankets. Great breakfast. Mattress was perfect to sleep on.

“Surprise Engagement in the Banhoek valley”
The staff were exceptional. Our daughter was getting engaged as a surprise and a special mention to Juanita and Marilee who went the extra mile to make it special for them. Juanita took lots of extra photos and Marilee oversaw the catering for us. All the staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for anyone from the restaurant staff to the maids who cleaned the bedrooms daily. Such a lovely memory for our group which we will never forget.

“A luxury stay right in the middle of the wine lands”
The staff were delightful. Murencia served us wine while we were waiting to check in (every hotel reception take note!) She also did an excellent wine tasting for us and served breakfast another day. All with a smile. Juanita was also very kind, helpful and great fun! The suite was spacious and luxurious.

“Idyllic stay amongst the vineyards and mountains”
Beautiful location (mountains and vineyards). Venue has a lot to offer from wine tasting to a swimming pool and lovely restaurant.
