Eugenio and Marilyn were wonderful hosts. Our stay was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked in front of us and we enjoyed chatting to fellow guests at the communal breakfast table. Communication before our arrival was very good. Overall a very charming visit. Would recommend to a friend.

Great location, and the charming Italian-style house has a lovely atmosphere. The views are wonderful – you can see Table Mountain and Lion's Head from the property. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay!

A beautiful place right next to the golf course, with stunning views of Table Mountain! Everything was perfect — peaceful, quiet surroundings, a lovely pool, and wonderful air conditioning. That last feature proved essential in the +42°C heat! Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and relaxation.

Well located for exploring the wine lands and Stellenbosch. Lovely views, friendly atmosphere, especially sharing the long dining table at breakfast, which was fun. Friendly, helpful tea.

Amazing property with great views, a comfy bed. The hosts were friendly and I liked the communal breakfast table concept. A good way to meet people - you just have to take a deep breath and say "Hi" to the person next to you if you're not used to it.

This is the closest you can get to a genuine fattoria in South Africa! Italian owned, the family is warm and welcoming. The rooms, guest areas and homestead have a special patina that one simply cannot replicate. Something rare and authentic that can only comes with time. With the property situated on a hill you are greeted by a lane of tall Mediterranean Cypress trees. Unparalleled and absolutely spectacular views over the valley. And even Devil’s Peak on a clear day. A view which you can enjoy from the luxury of your personal, vine covered verandah. The pool area is also beautifully situated with a lovely deck that also overlooks the valley. Olive grove and vineyards right below your room. The owners love of gardening is evident with the rows of rosebushes and corners filled with pots and plants and shrubs of every kind The location of the property on a hillside offers a welcome reprieve from the heat the town and the valley and is very conveniently situated within close distance of Stellenbosch and wine farms. Wish I could have spent more time there. (I hope to return in the Winter so that I can enjoy the cozy guest lounge with the huge fireplace)
