“Awesome family vacation spot on a farm - but a stone's throw from the city”

We returned to Bartinney for our 2nd family visit. Both host and hostess Eugene and Carmen were outstanding in the services provided. We received permission to invite 2 guests for dinner in our cottage, and they graciously assisted us with making this possible. We enjoyed the early morning trail paths and atmosphere of a farm.

Spacious and a very French feel to the 3 bedroom apartment. Enjoyed the quiet and relaxed location. Staff weee dry friendly and helpful. Wine tasting and views is amazing.

Eugene was exceptional and went out of his way to assist. There was a power failure while we were there and he kept us updated

Lovely old cottage on this wine estate. Don’t expect mod. cons. but lower yourself into it and it’s delightful. A lot of natural shade on v hot days. Rinaldo is a brilliant support for any help you need. We loved the location and position of the unsupervised swimming pool.

The host was very good, always helping and making sure everything was ok for our stay. The place is very nice, a few kms away from Stellenbosch in a superb and quiet environment, full of nature, accessible for walks/hikes in the neighbourhood. The lodge is correctly equipped with the appropriate facilities, making our stay comfortable.

We had wonderful days in a very picturesque environment. The accommodation is located on a wine estate (Bartinney) offering exceptional views. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. I would particularly like to mention Marc, who was extremely helpful and friendly. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay in the lovely Stellenbosch region.

The accommodation was lovely and in a great location for visiting Stellenbosch and vineyards. What really made our stay so good was Marc the manager. From the moment of booking his communication was excellent. Helpful directions, suggestions on things to do, places to visit and great restaurants.
