Banhoek Lodge is situated along the scenic Helshoogte Pass, which offers an array of wine farms. The lodge boasts views of the vineyards and mountains. “Wonderful”
Our stay was wonderful. We spent a few days here on our honeymoon, and everything was great. The staff was incredibly attentive, the in-room breakfast was exceptional, and the recommendations for sightseeing in the area were all excellent. The hotel is even better than it looks in the photos. We were very impressed with the room and how clean it was. The view is spectacular. We’ll definitely be back.

- Breakfast was lovely, well presented with great variety - Rooms were spacious, well-kept, had a mini bar for snacks with beverages - Views from the room were spectacular - Walking trails with wine farms surrounding were a great way to get some steps in - Staff were friendly, attentive and always smiling and helpful.

It was a great location! We did the Franschoek wine tram and our last stop was at t neighbouring wine farm and we walked back to the accommodation for 5 minutes. Staff were friendly.

“A wonderful find in the stunning Stellenbosch mountains and winelands that caters to all your needs.”
This is an absolute gem in the beautiful Stellenbosch winelands! The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with everything one could possibly need for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay (with additional surprise snacks and treats). The views from both rooms we booked were stunning, the facilities exceptional, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food delicious. Will definitely be returning. It is well worth taking a scenic walk to the neighbouring wine estates. Watching the sun rise on the mountains is also highly recommended.
